Ray's Pier offers a great dining experience with fresh, delicious food and a wonderful view of the water. The crabcakes and crab legs are praised as awesome, and the beer is served in frozen mugs. The menu may be smaller, but the food, beer, and service are all excellent. This longtime local favorite is a must-visit for those seeking authentic Southern Maryland seafood. Guests can enjoy steamed crabs, which are steamed to perfection, and the homemade coleslaw, made by Chef Patrick. The restaurant has a charming, old-fashioned family-owned atmosphere, with a bar and a brand new pier offering breathtaking views. While some reviews mention the atmosphere being a little dated, the friendly staff and delicious, hand-battered, made-to-order dishes make up for it. Whether arriving by boat or car, it’s a place where good old-fashioned food and a relaxing view come together, making it a perfect spot for a memorable seafood meal.
