Great patio, vibes, food and beer
A gem in downtown Bethesda
Relaxing and fun place with great food and folk
The bartender here i think his name is Louis… sweetest good looking guy! Love coming here!!! The vibes are the best and it’s cozy warm. Aperol on a warm day is the best here. Food is so fresh tastes like it’s from Italy the pizza inferno is my fav and whipped feta!!!
It was a good pizza (formaggo) and the service was good. Someone else said it was just like pizza from Italy I wouldn’t go THAT far but it is definitely above usual American fare. The Caesar salad wasn’t much to talk about I don’t know about other salads. The atmosphere was nice enough a bit cramped and the chairs not too comfortable but overall a good experience. The sound level was not too loud as in other places sometimes music can be at an overbearing level. Not at this place; it wasn’t a challenge to hold a conversation in other words. The reason I give 5 stars was not for anything truly “excellent” but the price was outstanding. $73 for 3 people having a full dinner this is amazing especially in today’s day and age. Caveat: none of us had any alcoholic beverages. Parking is a bit of a challenge especially during peak times (7-9). Definitely allow some time for that (there is a garage next door but it was almost full when we arrived).
Really love this restaurant- food decor service … all good
Sit in the garden patio area if possible. So nice on a warm night after being cooped up install day.
Although it’s billed as a pizza restaurant, they are no slouch when it comes to good Italian dishes. I had a superb shrimp fra diavolo. Spicy but not over-the-top so, with several large juicy shrimp. Repeatable. Good portion.
Meat & cheese antipasti and deviled eggs were good starters.
The food at nearby tables looked equally delicious..
Plan to spend $40-60 per person with wine.
I enjoyed the food here more than the at the neighboring Trattoria Sorrento - Alatri’s was fresher and brighter, more like what I’ve experienced in Italy. Sorrento’s was more like the old restaurants from my grandmother’s timeframe (good but heavy and old school )
The staff at Alatri Bros are polite, attentive, and go above and beyond to make the dining experience wonderful and the food was delicious ! Definitely coming back !!

Small plates were expensive but very filling, and everything tasted good overall. The arancini were very greasy and would be better with some red sauce. The mushroom crostini was delicious.

The pizzas are great. The terrace is fun. But we would enjoy dining here better, if the waiters didn't force everytime single-use plastic on us in the form of plastic cups and straws for kids and straws for adults. Why not provide reusable/glass mugs for kids and straws only if someone actually requests them?

Shortrib fettuccini and pizza was very bland. Meatball sliders were good but needed more sauce.

Everything was scrumptious! Especially pizza I ordered reminded me of my time in Rome. I used to go to place called ‘Pizza Re’ when I lived in Italy. I couldn’t find anything like authentic Italian pizza in the states including Little Italy NYC but this is the ONE reminded me of the real Italian pizza in Italy. We will be coming beck here for sure!
