This place regularly takes over 45 minutes to make two bagels. The bagels are good but they aren’t that good.

They make very good bagel sandwiches. Just remember to order ahead because the store gets very busy.

Do NOT ever order from here. I placed my order at 11:44 am and patiently waited until 1:20 pm only for the delivery person to tell me they picked up the wrong order. Neither the uber driver nor the restaurant workers wanted to take accountability for this.

This place frequently messes up simple orders even when placed way in advance and refuses to fix or expedite the order in spite of it being their own mistake. I’ll no longer be ordering from here.

Everything a hand-made Basel walk-up should be. They were humming on Saturday morning, with a line to the doorway and we didn’t pre-order. Still the wait wasn’t more than 7 or 8 minutes, and the mood was excited. Best onion bagel I’ve had since NY, and the egg was delicious, too. You can tell that they really let them slow-proof. Easy parking, and other nice stores nearby.

Best bagels in the area. If you're picking up a dozen+ bagels for work or friends, go to Bethesda Bagels. This location is very busy on weekend mornings so order online and go directly to the register when you arrive, don't wait in the line out the door.

I have visited the wildwood location a couple times weekly for years as I live a couple blocks away. They have a manager named Angel who is the worst customer service provider I've ever met. He should only work in the back. Our first encounter was a couple years ago when the line was as always long (15 minutes waiting) and a tall blond was standing behind me complaining that she only wanted a drink and had to wait. So I'm in front of her and I reply "yea me too, I just want a coffee." So with her being loud, Angel comes out, walks past me (black female) and takes her order and card..walks to the register rings it up and brings her soda cup and card back. !!??? I literally had the exact same order of a coffee and only needed a cup. But somehow when I asked why I was skipped he defends his action of helping this lady standing behind me. Angel definitely remembers me and this incident. Fast forward..I'm in there recently ordering the same thing that I do weekly- bagel with cream cheese..warmed. Have ordered this online a couple times weekly for years without a problem. I go to pick up the order and instead of warm like normal, the bagel is room temp and the cream cheese is freezing cold. (I never have or would ever eat cold cream cheese). So I asked Angel why they didn't warm everything as requested in the order and he replies "oh we don't do that".SINCE WHEN DOES A BAGEL SHOP NOT SERVE WARM BAGELS AND CREAM CHEESE!? Especially considering I've ordered the exact same order for years! He is a complete a$$. I took my cold food and had to make a detour stop at home to warm it being late to my next function. I promise if I had blonde hair - warming a bagel would not have been an issue.Surprisingly I ordered the exact same order online the following day and... Surprise...it was warm. Clearly they do do that.. just not when Angel is making the rules.
