I have gone periodically because it is close but comics all go quickly to gutter humor and are not very clever . I don’t understand how they can’t reconfigure so you could do dinner and drinks at same time ? I went once than maybe a month later and two of the comics were the same.I prefer give a hoot up in Gaithersburg . Funnier and cheaper with no Bethesda parking hassle .

Host is offensive comics are offensive without the crutch of being. Not very funny headliners otherwise great show! Comics who are unpaid are required to bring along 10 friends minimum hence the mostly positive reviews. $20 a bit high for this style of entertainment.

Such a wonderful fun atmosphere! Top notch comedians. Laugh for two hours. My first time being here, but will definitely be a regular. Friendly cozy and on top of that made new friends! We ate before the show at the restaurant and could bring our drinks in plastic cups to the show. Thank You Laugh Riot for best start of our weekend!

The reason there are so many ***** reviews is because the guy who runs this business, Curt Shackelford, requires comics to"Plz Friend Me on FaceBook...""'Bright New Face newbies have to bring minimum 10 friends to the show to cheer you on.""Can you plz ask your friends who came to see you to write a short review of show onAnother one of his endless rules: "5. If need to use Restroom during show, please (try to hold it) and wait for a comic's set to end before getting up so we minimize the disruption to the performance." Yeah, right. On Saturday night, comedy is $20 (many other amateur shows cost nothing, w/a 1-drink minimum), host is rude to "newbies" (who are paid $0); comics stand on a little round block like a doll; and most are "pros/headliners" who aren't very funny, and some regulars are racist. On the plus side, at Rock Bottom, the beer was good and over-worked bartender Dan was the best. Spend your $20 at the bar.

So funny and the show changes all the time. Lots of local humor. We love it!

Pace was good. Generally good visibility from all seats. The Philly-based Headliner engaged the audience and even did some call backs about the comics that performed before he did! Even had a 5 min intermission in the middle, so we could go grab another drink! About 90 min show.

Highly recommend attending this weekly comedy club event. All the comedians were hilarious and the venue is very nice as well.

Laugh Riot was amazing! Curt runs this comedy show with passion and ensures both comics and audience are getting the MOST out of their experience. No one wants to hear comedy or perform comedy in a noisy bar with food, phones and distractions. It's AWFUL! Curt makes sure each person is accommodated for an optimal comedy atmosphere where the jokes are not lost! Each featured comic is different and unique! What an amazing night for $20! No wonder it sells out! Come early! Eat before, bring your drinks in and enjoy!

Curt runs an amazing show. This intimate setting is the perfect venue for a comedy show. Inflation has impacted every aspect of life, except this show! The line up of veteran comics and first timers was a home run! You cannot ask for a better evening of entertainment for the money! I will be back for sure. People should be lining up hours in advance for this show, I know I will be!

Had such a great time at the 11/18 show! There was a great lineup and the two newbies fit in perfectly! Well organized - it was a fun night out!

What a great night! This was my first time at Laugh Riot and I had such an amazing time laughing. All the acts including the newbies were fantastic. My girl Kylene killed it! Great job to everyone who performed. The show flowed really well and I loved how intimidate the setting was. It was very nice that we got to meet some of the comedians at the end of the show. I also liked that we could get drinks from the bar which were good, I recommend the sour beer. I will be coming back!

This was my third visit to the Rock Bottom comedy venue and I was not disappointed. Both the Featured and Headliner comics are always superb, and even the Newbies do not disappoint. Super friendly crowd and Rock Bottom has been one of my favorite haunts for years now. Great bartenders and waitstaff - food is excellent. Lots of bang for your buck with these comedy gigs.

Great crowd, great artists, great host. Curt does a good job of gathering people from the area and giving newbies a chance, and the audience is super supportive. It's a good time.

For the price on a Saturday night you can't find comparable live entertainment. Had a good time.
