Overall, I went on a super busy evening with a large party celebrating a birthday. So service was sub-par. We had to ask several wait staff the same thing like -can I get a plate or a spoon for my pasta. Even the salads where 10-15 minutes apart leaving my guest with nothing. The food was ok... goat cheese salad and Caesar as well as calamari had nice portions are good. The Crab Dad pasta lacked and the spicy shrimp was just ok. A couple next to me had the same problem with the food. I'm not sure if this is normal or not since they had such a large party that night. Thus, giving them three stars out of Grace.

Outstandingly prepared fresh seafood. Caring and engaged staff. I went back a few days later to try a recommendation. (Salmon paata.). To die for.

This is our first visit to this location. It is a little hidden in the Pooks Hill area, located inside of the Promenade community. Go to the gate and they will give you a parking pass and direct you to the parking lot. When you get out, look for the Arcade sign and enter the building through those doors. They have plenty of seating in 3 areas: patio, inside, and bar. Spacious. The staff and service were top notch. So what to get? We were here for their Thursday Lobster Special (1.5 lb Lobster with season vegetables and potatoes). They definitely did not disappoint. The lobster was perfectly cooked and the sides were as delicious as the lobster. We also got the cream of crab soup and stuffed mushrooms. Stuffed mushrooms were a hit; unfortunately the cream of crab soup was not. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't great. By the way, the complimentary bread and olive oil were delicious. Not sure if it's the bread or the olive oil or both that made it so good. Probably both. My husband wanted the banana cream pie with caramelized banana for dessert even before we got there. Even though we were stuffed, we ordered one to share. It was so so so good. We devoured it in no time. Definitely will be back.

If you want a meal that is perfect. Then you go to Chef Tony's. We have been visiting Tony's for 4 + years and the food holds the standard every time.

I took two family members from out of town as they wanted seafood and this restaurant was recommended to me. To say I was disappointed and embarrassed is an understatement. I ordered a Lobster Tail. After two bites I saw the Lobster Tomalley still on the tail! It was the most disgusting thing to see. Lobster Tomalley is not for consumption! One family member ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and it had two pieces of chicken in a whole head of lettuce. My other family member ordered a seafood pasta dish and it had artificial crab in it. We ordered cocktails and the waiter brought shots of the this restaurant to anyone.

Solid, versatile menu and fresh seafood remains from the uber-convenient downtown Bethesda location, but pretty much everything else about the new location is a major turn-off. Located in a distant residential high-rise with no outdoor seating, and need to drive past a security gate and get a parking pass. I went to get takeout for my family on Christmas Eve and ended up waiting an hour past the ETA for takeout. Even more bothersome was the fact that no staff members expressed concern or urgency for this delay; acted as if I didn't even exist and couldn't even answer my question as to whether the food was started, in process, etc. Watched several other customers complain about botched holiday pre-orders during this time as well. Will be hard pressed to ever give them business again after this sour service experience.

Chef Tony's is excellent. We go there rather regularly and have never had a bad dining experience. The mussel appetizer is superb and the specialty Caesar salad is also excellent. We usually order the fish dishes which are always fresh and well prepared. It appears that Tony always actively overseas all of the preparation and everything in the kitchen. For dessert Chef Sonia prepares terrific dishes as well. At our last dinner we had the bread pudding with some caramel syrup and it was superb . We will continue to frequent Tony's and are even spending our New Years night there. Thank you Tony for always providing an excellent dining experience.

The food and the service are outstanding! Many times you go to a restaurant and something ruins the occasion, however it's rare you frequent a restaurant and your visit is superb every time; CHEF TONY's is that rare occasion ! Thank you Chef for your continued efforts, excellent food, and presentation! We appreciate you being here ! The Zinnamon's **********

Wow! Food and service were very good. We ordered the grilled halibut and grilled branzino which were both fantastic. Great oysters and carrot soup to start and nice wine selection. Very attentive and friendly waiter. We will be back again for sure

We live just down the road and were presently surprised when we realized we had a restaurant within walking distance from us. & it did not disappoint! A sweet Older gentlemen greeted us wearing a scooby doo tie. We had one server who seemed to be shy, however they were all attentive and nice. Drinks were BEST. IVE. HAD. In Bethesda! And food was delicious.

Had happy hour here twice recently. The 1/2 price appetizers were delicious and very plentiful. Good wine too. Lovely sitting outside. Hope they get lights and heaters for the cooler weather. Had dinner once also. The seafood is outstanding!

We visited this spot last Friday and we were greeted by a kind older gentleman. We asked to sit outside. I'd recommend that they have heaters for the patio. The patio is large and they social distance the tables, which I greatly appreciated. We had the... -Braised Beef Short Rib (rich and yummy 5/5) -Snapper (was barely scaled and needed salt, Great presentation but I couldn't believe it wasn't really scaled properly. Had a mouth full of scales1/5) -Pan Roasted Brussels (rich and delicious 4/5) -Carrot soup ( 3.5/5) -Service (1.5/5 Our server disappeared at some point and never checked on us! Turns out he wasn't supposed to be our server. I understand them being short staffed but he checked on EVERYONE BUT US!!!! My friend went to the gentleman in the front to complain about the horribly slow service and the fact that we ordered other things that never came out. We were given a dessert, an apology from the server who was the most attentive -_- not the one who never came back!!! Smh. Overall, my friends meal was great, mine wasn't...a mouth full of scales is no fun!

I can't recommend this place enough. Everything is great. The scallops are perfect, the braised short ribs are delicious, and the desserts are wonderful.

I always loved the food at their Downtown Bethesda location, which is now closed (being torn down and replaced by a large office building), although Chef Tony says they are looking for a new place downtown in addition to this new space. The location is in a large gated condominium complex (The Promenade) next to a host of other retail spaces (hair salon, travel agency, etc.). It is located just up the road from the Pooks Hill Marriott. There is ample parking and the RideOn 30 bus stops directly at the building. This is a much nicer, spacious, modern facility compared to their old downtown location with a large outdoor seating area. This is an independently-owned full-service seafood restaurant with happy hour, dinner and Sunday brunch. I had brunch here before but decided to try it for dinner. The food is just a good as I remembered. I got the Braised Icelandic Cod that was cooked in a flavorful broth with chorizo. I could not be happier with this dish. My eating companions go the braised beef short ribs and Scottish salmon pasta. Both were declared excellent (especially the short ribs) and we in large enough portions to take half home. Highly recommended for a nice seafood dinner. Prices were very reasonable. (Quality=5, Service/Timeliness=5, Atmosphere=5, Value=4)
