Cornucopia in Bethesda, Maryland is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by delightful pastries, perfectly seasoned chips, rich oils, and food essentials that bring flavors from across the globe. Every shelf feels like a passport stamp from another country.

My favorite indulgence is the Caprese with Mozzarella di Bufala sandwich—complete with balsamic, virgin olive oil, and fresh bread. It’s simple, authentic, and bursting with freshness. Each bite feels like a quick trip to Italy.

Cornucopia is more than a market; it’s a sensory experience that makes you slow down, savor, and appreciate the beauty of real food. A true Bethesda treasure.

Great store! I’ve walked past this store many times and finally stopped by. I wish I had sooner. Very friendly and helpful staff. The cookies I bought were delicious and didn’t last long. I can’t wait to try the sandwiches and bread.

I have been coming to Cornucopia for 10+ years. Unfortunately I only come when visiting family since it is several hours away from my home. Every time I come the selection of items is outstanding & almost every single thing is imported from Italy. The best thing about this place by far is the desserts & the sandwiches. Ebo makes the bread fresh daily & it is absolutely phenomenal. I usually end up bringing multiple sandwich’s back home with me due to how amazing they are. The veggies & meats are so fresh & so flavorful it is truly unlike any other sandwich shop. If you’re in the area, this is a must try. Truly a hidden gem of Bethesda.
