Beware: the beds—particularly in room 1028—are astonishingly UNCOMFORTABLE. What should have been a restful stay turned into a sleepless ordeal. The mattress was far too soft and springy—every slight movement sent ripples across the bed, jolting my husband and me awake repeatedly. It felt like sleeping on a waterbed made of springs.
By the second night, in sheer desperation, my husband tried sleeping on the floor—but with our two girls already occupying the sofa bed (which wasn’t comfortable either), there was no space left. Eventually, around 2 a.m., he gave up entirely and retreated to our car just to get some rest. He barely slept there either, and the next day he was so sleep-deprived that he had to sleep through our daughter’s big first day at sleep away camp—something he had been looking forward to for weeks. I ended up doing everything solo—lugging her bags, helping her settle in—while juggling our younger daughter. It was exhausting.
To make matters worse, none of the rooms offer two queen beds—just one king—so we had no choice but to book a second room just to get a decent night’s sleep before the long 4.5-hour drive home tomorrow. That additional expense was incredibly frustrating.
And don’t even get me started on the pillows—they flattened the moment your head touched them. I regret not bringing my own from home.
One more note: as soon as you step off the elevator on the 10th floor, you’re hit with the unmistakable smell of dog urine and smoke. Thankfully, these odors didn’t carry into our room, but it’s incredibly off-putting to be greeted by that smell the moment the elevator doors open. It seems likely that a few nearby rooms allow smoking or pets, but whatever the cause, it desperately needs more frequent cleaning and attention. First impressions matter—and this one wasn’t great.
Clean and kid friendly.
The door in the room that keeps it separate from the living is great for kids. We have a 5 and 6 year old. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable, and the pullout couch is a plus.
The fridge did not have a freezer.
A guest had a dog on the 10th floor with us the reeked and had urine and poop smelling up the entire hallway.
Breakfast was great. Many options.
Gym had broken machines and a water dispenser that did not work.
Customer service was ok.
Parking was ok.
The property is well kept and near stores for convenience and near the expressway.
This hotel was good but has potential to be great with a few upgrades and adjustments.
When we called the front desk for a replacement remote control no one ever came.
The lady greeting at the breakfast is so nice!!! Props to her!
We were in town over the weekend and were impressed. Done a lot of traveling and this property was very nice, really well maintained, convenient and, best of all the staff - from check in to housekeeping to the restaurant were very friendly and professional. Very reasonable cost. And, as other reviews have noted, great breakfast. We also ate in for dinner and it was excellent as well. We will definitely be back.
Joe the bartender was a really great server. He treated my coworker and I very graciously. The hotel staff was kind and courteous.

Average hotel. A/C turned off in the middle of the night the 2nd night. Pillows are terrible.

Only thing I don't like is that they charge $20 a night for parking. You do have in and out privileges and it's self park.
Edited to add: I'm not mad at having to pay for parking. I just don't like it. I appreciate the effort to follow up, though.
Food and drinks: Free breakfast and manager happy hour.

The breakfast buffet was served by Mary and Monica G and other ladies was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit every taste mostly. The rooms were incredibly spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a perfect balance of comfort and convenience.

An array of problems with the stay here starting with being issued a room that wasn’t cleaned and soiled toilet paper in the toilet upon arrival. Other issues that I will not go into here but they center around the horrible service the first evening of arrival. When I asked for a manager, there was not one in duty Monday or Tuesday. I asked the person who took my concerns to have the manager call me to confirm my matters were received but I guess they are too busy to address customers concerns. I waited a couple days to write this review to see if I would get a call but here we are now.
