Joe the bartender was a really great server. He treated my coworker and I very graciously. The hotel staff was kind and courteous.

Very good location, we had a mall at a very short distance. Breakfast was served at the hotel and it was delicious, servers very kind and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable spacious and very clean.

Average hotel. A/C turned off in the middle of the night the 2nd night. Pillows are terrible.

Only thing I don't like is that they charge $20 a night for parking. You do have in and out privileges and it's self park.

Edited to add: I'm not mad at having to pay for parking. I just don't like it. I appreciate the effort to follow up, though.

Food and drinks: Free breakfast and manager happy hour.

The breakfast buffet was served by Mary and Monica G and other ladies was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit every taste mostly. The rooms were incredibly spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a perfect balance of comfort and convenience.

An array of problems with the stay here starting with being issued a room that wasn’t cleaned and soiled toilet paper in the toilet upon arrival. Other issues that I will not go into here but they center around the horrible service the first evening of arrival. When I asked for a manager, there was not one in duty Monday or Tuesday. I asked the person who took my concerns to have the manager call me to confirm my matters were received but I guess they are too busy to address customers concerns. I waited a couple days to write this review to see if I would get a call but here we are now.

I booked this hotel for my parents for the second time this month. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit every taste. The rooms were incredibly spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a perfect balance of comfort and convenience. One of the standout perks was the complimentary evening snacks and drinks, which added such a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. The hotel’s location is unbeatable – it’s just a short walk to the mall, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. The attention to cleanliness throughout the property was impeccable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay with fantastic amenities. We will definitely be returning.

It is located in a very serene area of Bethesda's best neighborhood, close to the two major highways, 270 and 495. The breakfast spread is fantastic, especially the egg station, which is manned by very experienced kitchen staff. Talking about staff leads me to mention one super competent front desk staff member, Amy, who makes sure all your needs are fulfilled and questions answered. She really caught my attention with her indepth experience in customer service. She would always be the reason for my recommending this hotel.

I'm giving this place a 3 based solely on the room and the shower. Oh, and how quiet it was. And that's it. My husband and I love Embassy Suites and stay at a lot when we travel, but this one was as disappointing as the Chevy Chase location. At least Chevy Chase allowed us to take coffee to our room. Honestly, we had no idea this was once a Marriott, which explains everything. The evening reception was cramped and uninviting, especially if you have young kids. And the person who ran the breakfast was like the gestapo. We have two young children, one is disabled and the other a toddler. Our older son came down with an illness, so my husband asked if he could take food up to him. Her response "Oh that's so sad. You can still eat." Cool, cool. Needless to say, no one got breakfast from the Embassy. We had to buy food elsewhere. No other Embassy we have stayed at have ever treated guests this way. You are always allowed to bring food, especially coffee to your room. The evening reception (previously mentioned before) well, that sucked as well. Just admit you opened bags of Sunchips you hand out to guests at check-in and just put them in a bowl. And no spoon for salsa?! The lack of detail in the managers' reception is nonexistent. It's like you pour all of your money into everything but detail. Thank goodness we are only here for one more night. After tonight, we will never stay here again! I can see you're trying to be better than the other Embassys, but you need to do better...a lot better. Take notes from the Georgetown location near Embassy Row. Now that's an Embassy worth noting to go above and beyond.
