Nice Hotel for the area and pricing but Lots of hidden fees. The hotel only offers King Size Bedroom and services 4 people per room. There is a $50 per day deposit fee and they charge you for breakfast if it’s over 4 people. They also have a very small indoor pool which is also used for swimming lessons during the day so pool hours are very very limited . It also makes the pool look very very cloudy .I am usually a fan a of Embassy Suites but this location has too many turn offs. My car wasn’t even able to fit in the parking garage but yet I was charged full price for the parking. The front desk staff has great customer service . Very kind.Rooms: Rooms and clean and usable. It would be nice if there were options for two bed suites.Nearby activities: Hotel is about 25-30 min away from all memorials and Smithsonian’s.Safety: I felt pretty safe

The food here was phenomenal. We ate dinner here and everything tasted great (plus our server was super friendly!!). The free breakfast was also great! However, the pool was very small and absolutely packed, and it closed quite early. Also, the hot tub was not remotely heated and was the same temperature as the pool. This isn't a huge deal but the pool and hot tub were basically the reason we booked this hotel.

Took my 2 well- traveled kids here for a mini-staycation in DC for spring break and they immediately have it a thumbs up. All rooms are set up kind of like a one bedroom apartment (king size bed with en suite bath, full size pull out couch) with a little kitchenette and desk. The hotel seems newer or perhaps has been newly remodeled as everything looked modern and well kept.We immediately went to the indoor pool, which is adjacent to the fitness center area. The pool and hot tub were crowded with a lot of splashing kids, also on spring break, so I wouldn't recommend if you just want to chill. My kids loved it though. The hotel is very family friendly and I observed staff everywhere I went. The free breakfast buffet entitles you to up to 4 passes per room and includes a made to order omelet station as well and offerings above your standard continental breakfast. The location is great, adjacent to Montgomery Mall and a short drive to the North Bethesda metro station where you can park and ride the Metro into DC. You would be hard pressed to find a better value than a hotel of this caliber for less than half of what you'd pay for a similar offering in DC. Glad I experienced this unexpected gem!Rooms: Rooms are like a one bedroom apartment with a room with king sized bed, TV, and en suite bathroom and a living area with it's own kitchenette, desk and seating area with a full size pull out couch that can sleep 2. Modern/updated decor, well-maintainedNearby activities: Montgomery Mall for shopping, movie theater and entertainmentBethesda shoppingNorth Metro station to take train into DCSafety: Very safe and secure affluent suburb just outside of DCNoteworthy details: Connected garage parking available for $20 additional with elevator, free breakfast included with made to order omelet station and food offerings of better quality than standard continental breakfast of other hotels, very friendly and helpful staff - highly visible all over hotel, indoor pool closes at 9pm and fitness center is open 24 hours

The rooms were excellent, but I found the location to be just a bit too fair from downtown Bethesda to make it reasonable to commute back and forth every day. It was about a 15 to 20 minute Uber drive everyday to downtown Bethesda. Also, I didn't have good luck with the service at the restaurant. I sat there for about 20 minutes and still had not ordered. I bought some food from the corner store and went to bed. All and all this is a great place to stay if you have a car.Rooms: Great rooms. I stayed on the 8th floor.

I've stayed at a lot of different hotels and will stand by this being my absolute favorite! I appreciate each and every one of the staff here. They always make me feel welcome and appreciated. From the time I check in, go to sleep, till I wake up to the best breakfast, they help make every day special. I am truly grateful! ♥️ i would try to name them all but I'm sure if leave out someone important as they all are. Thank you so very much!!!!!

My partner and I stayed for only 2 nights and we got bit up and frankly it looks like bed bug bites. Our pillows also had weird brown streak marks. For a 3 start hotel I expect to be able to watch some sort of subscription service. We were left to watch sports or the news. The only nice thing is that there is bus stops near the hotel which takes you to the metro.

The parking lot has signs that hit the top of your vehicle. They're below the max height and attached lower than the ceiling. At check in someone in the staff thought it was appropriate to greet you while hacking in your face. Nothing about that was appropriate especially after the coronavirus pandemic. Breakfast was good, until they blew the grass outside inside, while doing grounds maintenance. The sweet smell of gas, leaves, dirt, and grass went fantastic with my coffee eggs and bacon mmm delicious. The pool and hot tub have adjusted hours instead not what's on the website and smells like fresh soap water. The overall stay was quiet but this place could use some changes. The bathroom has a pocket door which worked nicely, oddly the balcony only had a chair and table instead of 2 chairs with the table. And when you step out there's no sign to say watch your step. Not the worst stay I've had but it suited it's purpose for my stay.

The front desk staff appeared disorganized and incompetent, struggling to handle basic tasks efficiently. After the first disruptive call, I went down to the front desk, only to encounter an unfriendly, rude, and unprofessional staff member. This behavior was surprising, especially considering my positive experiences at other branches of the hotel chain. The second call, made by a girl who seemed equally unfocused, was particularly frustrating as she insisted that someone should come down to confirm a reservation that's already paid for. Seriously, how would I have been let in in the first place? I did not fly through the window to be let in. She insisted that I come down at 3am to accommodate their unnecessary questions. When I suggested that it could wait until I check out the next day, she then said OK!!!!Upon checking out the next day promptly after breakfast, I found no issues from my side, and all the necessary information had been provided repeatedly. The interruption caused by the unnecessary calls was highly annoying and did not align with the standards expected from such establishments. Guests expect professional service in exchange for their payment, not to be unnecessarily inconvenienced.Although the breakfast was acceptable and the rooms were spacious, clean, and generally pleasant, the pillows had an unpleasant odor. Despite these positives, the overall experience was marred by the unprofessionalism of the staff and unnecessary disruptions. This was undoubtedly the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I would strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

This was an excellent choice of accommodation. Incredible hotel, very beautiful reception, great service, large, clean rooms and very comfortable bed. The hotel has large parking and a swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious and with many options, very different from the American standard we usually find. It's not close to the main tourist attractions, but if you have a car, it's very quiet. It was without a doubt the best hotel on this trip! I highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

My family and I are local and decided to stay nearby for a quick staycation. We picked Embassy Suites because of the indoor pool, which my kids (6,7) had a ball at! We loved the whole stay. The happy hour was a nice surprise. The hotel is very clean, including pool, pool bathrooms, lobby and our guest room. The included breakfast was a full buffet and tasted great! We are planning to go back very soon!
