I came into your store on Elm street in Bethesda today.
I asked for a cup of water.
I was charged $1.00.
Someone else went in about 5 minutes after me and his was free.
The employee didn't tell me they had certain cups that were free.
I feel as though that was wrong and that he just wanted to get my money even though it was just one dollar
It's not about the dollar, it's the principle

This location is extremely busy, and I understand that. However, I walked into the store and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to take my order, which is simply unacceptable. I ordered a black coffee and a cream cheese bagel. While I received the coffee after five minutes, the cream cheese bagel was overlooked. After waiting an additional 10 minutes with no sign of my bagel, I decided to leave. This level of service is not what I expect, even in a busy environment.

I came to this store today and they were dealing with a leakage, while 2 of their workers were trying their best to help everyone and fix the issue meanwhile Melissa was there complaining asking to call the manager and she didn’t even want to go behind the counter because the leakage was there. she was unable to help me with my Mobile order cause apparently she was too busy in her phone finding out what to do for national pie day!!! Thank you very much to the other 2 workers who were trying their best to keep everything moving!! 🙏🏻

This morning, I decided to give Dunkin’ Donuts in Bethesda a try, even though I usually only stop by Dunkin’ in airports out of convenience. I was craving an English breakfast sandwich to take home, but I ended up leaving without ordering, all because of the shocking customer service I witnessed.

When I walked in, a woman was ordering ahead of me, and she politely asked the cashier if they could remove the bacon from her sandwich, explaining that it didn’t suit her. His response was startling—he cut her off with a condescending tone, saying, “Ma’am, just so you know, we don’t make substitutions here. I have upper management meetings about this, and maybe other Dunkin’ locations accommodate requests like that, but we won’t.”

The woman looked at him, visibly confused, probably because she was used to getting simple adjustments at Dunkin’ without any fuss. She clarified, saying she wasn’t asking for a discount; she just didn’t want the bacon on her sandwich. Instead of handling it gracefully, he doubled down on his attitude, making the whole interaction unnecessarily tense.

Undeterred, she moved on and asked for a latte. But the rudeness continued, as he replied, “A latte is not going to be possible right now,” in the same dismissive tone. At that point, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It’s on the menu, so if they couldn’t make it, he could’ve at least communicated that politely. The woman, clearly flustered, turned to the rest of us and apologized, saying, “I’m not trying to make this difficult; I just want to get my food and go.” Another customer nearby stepped in, telling the cashier he was being rude, but nothing seemed to faze him.

At that point, I decided I wouldn’t spend a single dollar there. I walked out, genuinely taken aback by how poorly that customer was treated, and I couldn’t imagine dealing with that level of attitude myself.

The guy was young and of African American descent!

EXCELLENT service. I usually come here during their busy hours in the morning and the workers here make it seem like light work. On top of that they knew half the customers orders before they even got to the register, THATS how you do service! Thumbs up!

This place takes no responsibility for, and won’t refund, unfilled orders. Do NOT get Uber to deliver from here unless you don’t want your complete order. Worst part: they don’t care.

I used to come here regularly until yesterday. I was walking past and noticed one of the workers starting outside, in uniform, talking to a bunch of his friends who were blocking the sidewalk with their bikes. Typically I’m not one to complain about this kind of stuff, but when I went around them to walk past, the worker’s friends began hollering at me. They were calling me names such as “Ms. Lightskin” as I walked down the street. They yelled that they were trying to set me up with their friend, the worker, who then decided to walk back inside. I was several storefronts away at this point, and they would not stop hollering about my mixed race for all of Bethesda to hear. I continued to walk to Giant, and the friends continued to follow me on their bikes. This was a terrifying experience as a black woman, I’m so disappointed. Had the staff been actually doing their job, then this never would have happened to me.
