Terrific food! Great steak. Even better short ribs. Lovely new dining room. Very relaxing and clearly a talented chef. Just the right sized portions with prrfectly cooked vegetables with snap and flavor. A gem.
It was Trivia night and group of friends getting together for conversation and dinner, had a difficult time hearing. The leader of the Trivia was so loud that we asked our waitress to ask him to turn down the volume. He refused and even seemed to get louder. We sat off to the side and in back no less but to no avail. Difficult to communicate with waitress and ordering because of noise Food was not outstanding 6 meals all were okay but I certainly would not recommend this restaurant to any one. We mentioned it to management also about noise level again to no avail. We had no qualms about them the trivia game but the microphone echoed through the room and the Hotel where the restaurant was located.
Went to Fialova for drag bingo. It was a lot of fun, and the vibes were great. The restaurant is inside the Bethesdan, and is easily accessible by metro. The food and drinks were great. I had the chicken sandwich (comes with fries), espresso martini, and chocolate peanut butter cake. All were a hit.
Service a bit slow, but they were busy this night. Friendly staff all around though so no biggie. Would recommend this place to friends and fam. Apparently they also have trivia night on wednesdays!
Mother's Day Brunch was outstanding. Not too stuffy or loud; great for the whole family. Service was wonderful and the food was perfect; great variety, delicious! Truly Special.
Chicken Caesar is 🔥
Friendly staff great service!
The experience in your restaurant was amazing your bartender is absolutely fabulous. The food was Outstanding we are definitely recommending your restaurant to all of our family in friends. We will be back thank you so much for the wonderful experience. Nicole and Dwayne Bell
No ambiance at all. Essentially in the lobby of a hotel. The pictures on Open Table look nothing like what I saw there. Understaffed. There were only two large parties there, but only one waiter and one bartender. Food took too long. Multiple things not available on the menu, like chicken. It was a bit disappointing.
A nice surprise in the hotel lobby. The food was excellent. We got burgers, wings, and crabcakes. The service was great, food came out quickly, and it wasn’t even that expensive. It’s not exactly a destination restaurant, but if you’re in the hotel and need a meal, this is a really good option.
Stayed just one night but what a comfortable night it was. The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. I can't wait to return!
It was supposed to be Mother's day Brunch! They had a full bar but they were not serving drinks?!?!? They had a waffle maker but no one to make waffles! They had to find someone to make omlettes! There was no menu option, only buffet. Unpleasant experience

The place looked better than the food, completely mediocre, I would not come again. Tastes like school food, burgers are bland, the pork belly was horrible, the chili tasted absolutely absurd and the fries tasted like old grease. Do not waste your time here, overpriced for the quality of food. Service was terrible. The only good thing about this place was that the water didn't taste like tap. 1/10

After tea at Hillwood Estate, my friends and I stopped by the Cherry Blossom Festival Pop-up Bar at Fiavola Restaurant inside The Bethesdan. It will be there until 4/14. The restaurant was decorated with cherry blossom garlands and cherry petal pillows. The service was better at the bar than the table. For drinks, we enjoyed the Cherry Blossom inspired cocktails, including Japanese Slipper and Blossom 75, and Pinot Grigios. For food, we enjoyed the Slider Trio, Poutine, and Suntory Whisky Glazed Chicken Wings. The Slider Trio consisted of a burger, crabcake, and fried chicken thigh slider. Among the three sliders, my fiance enjoyed the crabcake the most. I liked how the chicken wings were sweet and tangy and came with carrots and celery served with ranch dipping sauce. It was a bit messy to eat, but that was expected.
