I come to Fish Taco several times a week for lunch and even recommend it to others. The only reason I ordered through Uber Eats this time was because I wanted to finally share Fish Taco with my husband for dinner — I’ve been raving about the blackened salmon for months.
I always substitute the regular fish for blackened salmon, since the regular fish has made me sick before. Uber eats does not have the same options as their website so immediately after placing my order (within one minute), I called the restaurant to request the substitution and said I was fine paying extra. I even explained that I had already paid $5 for chicken on top of the fish, and they could simply apply that payment toward the $1 blackened salmon add-on and not add the chicken. In other words, I wasn’t asking for anything free.. just to make a fair adjustment because I REALLY wanted the blackened salmon that bad.
Instead, the manager Julia was dismissive, passive aggressive, and told me my order was already done and ready for pickup. That was not only unhelpful but also unrealistic given the timing. She said the kitchen works fast and my order was already made even tho we’ve been on the phone for under 2 mins. As a loyal customer, it was frustrating to be brushed off with excuses instead of a reasonable solution.
The blackened salmon is the only reason I come here, but this experience has made me reconsider returning. I hope corporate takes this seriously — loyal customers deserve honesty, flexibility, and respect, not rigid excuses and dismissive service.

Second trip here, I had to come back to confirm what I thought. Sure enough I was right these are the second best tacos I've had anywhere in America... better than most places in California even the staff was very friendly and helpful the places kept clean and well-organized I would definitely recommend for anyone in the area

We ordered the signature fish taco platter along with the chicken and barbacoa tacos. The chicken taco was definitely the standout—it had a great grilled flavor that really came through on the first bite. Highly recommend it! The fish tacos were a bit disappointing—not very crispy and light on the fish. As for the barbacoa, the beef wasn’t tender and lacked flavor, so I wouldn’t suggest ordering that one.

Enjoyable beef brisket rice bowl. My wife loved her blackened fish salad.
The food was flavorful and good balanced between protein (meat), carbs (rice), and veggies. Me and my friends ordered steak rice bowls, barbacoa taco, signature fish tacos, Shrimp rice bowls and elote. Everything was awesome, especially shrimp bowl, fish tacos, and the elote (corn roast). In addition, the food came out quick and servers were friendly and helpful! Definitely come back!!

Oddly addictive. Their signature fish taco is so good and the sauce that comes on it is incredible. We come here with friends at least twice a week for a reasonably priced delicious meal. Also their frozen margs are a little sweet but exactly what you want on a hot summer day. Also their barbacoa is equally fantastic. A stand out dining option on Bethesda row
