Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

Connecticut style pizza beats NYC pizza everytime for me and having frank Pepe’s in the DMV, does just that. The meatball & ricotta pie is my go to and slaps everytime.

Update: I had to come back and give it the extra star it deserves. This pizza is just way too good to not talk about over and over again. This time I got the Doppio as well. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Its simplicity at its finest. And the service?? Top tier. Our server Laura is one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Give her the raise she deserves! Thanks again!

Having had Andy's I figured it was only fair to try Frank Pepe. Overall I think the two are comparable so it is a matter of convenience which I would recommend. It was Christmas Eve and I was solo so I opted for takeout. Note, it's connected to the mall (Westfield) and thus you're battling with mall traffic for a parking spot. It would be nice if there were dedicated quick pickup parking spots.

The food was well packaged, and the ordering process online was very easy. The Margherita I got was good - the equivalent at Andy's might have a bit more flavor. The cannoli pie was tasty and better than the tiramisu.

Excellent pizza! So so good. Ordered catering for 50 people. While the full order not delivered due to a mixup, the customer service made it more than right. Highly recommended for just pizza or night or a party!

My husband and I have had Frank Pepe’s in the original Connecticut location. When I heard they were opening a location nearby, we were so excited!
Our server, Sabrina, provided excellent recommendations - a pizza with chicken and ricotta - along with the classic tomato pie. She was so friendly and helped celebrate my husband’s birthday with a delicious cannoli pie.

I love this pizza and I’m glad there’s one close to home. I’ll be back!

Nothing special. Fell for the “Est. 1925” and strong marketing. You either serve New Haven or Neapolitan pizza, so make up your mind. If you want to know what authentic Neapolitan pizza tastes like, go to Il Canale in Georgetown. I have been going to that place for the last 7 years and it has never disappointed me.

Frank Pepe lives up to its hype! The pizza was incredible. The ingredients are fresh, and you can taste the signature New Haven crust that really makes the pizza special.

My wife and I prefer Pete's New Haven style pizza over this restaurant. We didn't find that this pizza had enough flavor in the tomato sauce or crust.

Cant recommend it enough! Tried to order delivery but it selected this address by mistake and they tried to send me my order across state lines! Unfortunately it took too long at that point and Ginner was extremely nice and professional and sorted out the website’s mistake with me!
