Great local coffee shop. Kind and attentive service and very good coffee. My only suggestion is that since they don’t have a regular sit in place (I love the outside seating but it is limited and there aren’t restrooms), their prices could be lower. This may attract a larger clientele.
Everything tasted horrible. No flavor, limited menu and the staff has no knowledge of anything.
Ugh, the coffee had an acidic flavor. Nothing is more off putting than going to a professional coffee shop and getting an acidic coffee. I wonder, as professional, if they have taken the time to understand the science behind a good cup of coffee. Such as the importance of correct coffee granularity and pressure to get a good layered espresso crème and the correct temperature to ensure the coffee doesn’t taste acidic. I wish them all the success but this was definitely not the best cup of coffee. A good cup of coffee is a bit of an art and science.
Today's drip coffee was undrinkable, had to throw it out 3/4 full. Regretted not walking back and let the otherwise friendly staff know.
The Best coffee ever! My only wish is that they had indoor seating for inclement weather days. Non the less it is a great vibe and the outside seating is wonderful still. I brought my BFF to check it out and she loved it! We like great coffee and cozy cafes. We enjoy checking out the local coffee venues and this one it on the top of the list!!!
This place is hands down the best coffee shop in town! I tried an iced matcha latte, a Kyoto cold brew, and a macchiato—all were perfect, but the macchiato was my absolute favorite.
I was hesitant to try their espresso since I hadn’t found a great one in town. But to my surprise, it turned out to be the best espresso I’ve had all year—maybe even in my life. It showcased the full depth of the beans’ flavors—rich but not overly bitter, smooth without being too light or acidic. The creamy milk balanced beautifully with the espresso, creating a flawless harmony.
They even use a La Marzocco, one of the top espresso machines out there. So ditch those sugary coffees and give their espresso drinks a try—you won’t regret it!
Grace Street has the best coffee in the area – espresso is exceptional. Service is always excellent and staff is great. Wish there was a location in Potomac!

A walk up version of the popular Georgetown café. This is a cool location, I usually stop in here after boxing practice right before I walk over to the farmers market. The staff is great and the walkup window dynamic is very nice.

(Reply to your reply) Uh, yeah ... keep telling yourselves that. There was nothing "light" or "fruity" about this coffee. It was rancid, pungent and shockingly terrible, but thanks for the insult.
I have to assume there was an error here, but still ... I got a black coffee this morning and while I walked home with it, it smelled very odd. I took a sip and it was horrible! Either the coffee pot was filthy, had rotten coffee in it, or it had cleaning solution in it when they brewed the coffee (this is my guess). I tried to call to let them know before they got someone sick but there's no number for this place. The people getting espresso-based coffees seemed happy so I'm sure it's a fine place, but there's no way their coffee is meant to smell and taste the way it did. I have been meaning to try this place for months and I finally had a day off and was on a walk but, yikes!

Their Kyoto cold brew is one of the most flavorful, smooth cold brews I’ve had! The person at the counter was super nice and patient explaining the drink options and what the Kyoto cold brew was. Also, we were thinking about buying whole beans and she gave us a few beans to smell and taste to make up our minds. They looked and tasted really good!
Parking: Plenty of street parking available. Looked like mostly metered parking. Since it was just the window, we were able to get in and get out without paying for a few minutes of parking.
