Great views, amazing atmosphere, good service, delicious drinks, but there could be a bit more variety of food options. Other than that, wonderful experience and can't wait to go back.
We stopped here for a cocktail on a Saturday night after seeing a show at the Bethesda Theater and walking past it in our way back to our hotel. You enter through the Marriott lobby and take an elevator near the front desk up to the rooftop. There were plenty of people here but we were able to get seats at the bar. Our cocktails were very good. We did not eat any food and I didn’t see anybody else’s with any so I can’t speak on that. We chatted with one of the bartenders...
Mostly tourists staying in the hotel are here. Warmed igloos on the roof go for $1000 table fee with separate waiter.
The ambiance is nice, but I can't get over the dark blue and brown decor. From my understanding it was supposed to be a representation of the nearby Potomac River. But we all know the water there is dark brown 🤷🏻♀️
