Best Tiki vibes, drinks 🍸 , and food made to order . . . Just ask for custom variations on menu items, and they might surprise you with something wonderful !

Great for groups, the food was super tasty, the service was very attentive, and the tiki cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

This place has been around for ages. Great food. I had the Szechuan Crispy Beef. The duck is also outstanding

Tried the Boston shrimp. It was pretty close to the old fashioned (without the peas & carrots) shrimp w lobster sauce & yummy since it has minced pork.

Usually I've been happy with the food but today I ordered the crispy beef and the beef was totally burned. I understand it's supposedly be crispy but the beef was the size or shoestring fries and so hard you can break a tooth. I will never be ordering crispy beef from Foo Ling ever again.

Very disappointed. I will not go back. No where on their website does it say they are closed from 3-4:30 and I came in the door at 2:58 and 3 employees looked up at me with their mouths full of food saying “we closed”. Im disabled and it took a lot for me to walk from the parking lot to the restaurant. Shame on you for being so rude. I will never again eat at this restaurant. You ruined it.

Decent service chinese joint in the heart of bethesda. Was able to walk in the neighborhood. Dishes are around $22 each. Not large enough to share so one per person.

I encountered my first unequal treatment at this restaurant on 6/28/24. My family of 6 entered the restaurant and asked to be seated. We were asked if we had a reservation. We said no. The hostess acted as if reservations were a requirement, but there were other customers that arrived that were not asked if they had reservations. After an extended period of time and a conversation between the host and who appeared to be the Manager, we were seated at a table for 5! Now this was after we walked past, at the very least, 3 tables for 6! We were told they would bring another chair to our table for 5, but never did! We took a chair from another empty table, of which there were many, to allow for the standing member of our party to sit. We were rudely served by a waiter, who filled our water glasses, but never came back to take our order and instead waited on the tables around us multiple times! We decided to leave and told the hostess and manager that we believed we had been mistreated. I also informed the Manager that I had been there many times with co workers and had never been treated in this manner. I won't be back, nor will I encourage other African Americans to patronize this restaurant!

I would consider myself a connoisseur of all Asian foods from Chinese to Japanese, Korean ,Vietnamese, Thai and everything in between. House of Foo Ling is definitely a favorite . The owner is so personable and always remembers that I like her soft shell crab dish which is cooked to order and always outstanding. I also enjoy The Egg Foo Yung , Thai Basil Shrimp, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, as well as the Orange chicken or Orange shrimp. I can’t wait to take my family as I know they will enjoy it as much as my best friend and I do. You will never be disappointed.!!! 10/10 ❤️

I have been taking my family and friends to House of Foong Lin for over 30 years. Warm, friendly service and great food is their hallmark. They make the most delicious authentic Cantonese Style Chinese Food in Washington. Try their: SZECHUAN CRISPY BEEF, PEKING DUCK (carved table side), FLOUNDER "DUET", LO MEIN, PAN FRIED NOODLES, EGG ROLLS (best I've ever had), MONGOLIAN LAMB OR BEEF, and endless combinations of Shrimp, Chicken and Beef with stir fried Vegetables. Also come by for Tiki Night on Thursday! It's great fun. Authentic "Polynesian" Style drinks and Hawaiian Shirts. If you love Chinese Food you can't miss dining at HOUSE OF FOONG LIN.
