UPDATE:
Not sure why they bother replying when it just makes you more frustrated. They say to contact customer care with no instructions on how to do that. When I checked on a website, it says I have to download the app. Not very helpful

This place is doing gangbusters because the Starbucks is closed for renovation.
I’ve been here a few times and each time it’s been fine. It’s always been quiet and there’s never a line.
Now there are a ton of people waiting for drinks. I always order regular coffee at Starbucks which the person working the cash register gets so I don’t have to wait.
Unfortunately, no such policy here. I have to wait for 10 fancy drinks to be made even though the cash register is just standing there.
I had to change my baby diaper and ask to use the bathroom and one of the employees said did u order i said no bc i just walk through the door so i was staring to get upset then other employee came over and told me the code and seen the manager and told him that nit right but besides all the it a nice place
Yikes, after attempting for a year to give this smaller chain a shot at being the alternative to the big commercial giant down the row, I will have to skip Joe and the Juice. This week, several of us waited well past opening time for the store to open, waited a half hour for the drip coffee machine to become operational, and eventually left without our drinks. In the last few months, yogurt and berries were served without berries, drink orders had to be re-ordered to be accurate, and staff seemed generally depressed. I won’t go back to the big chain, so we’ll have to find an alternative somewhere else…
We were excited to come here since we don’t have a Joe near us, however we were really disappointed to find out that they were completely out of all milks except almond. How do you run out of regular milk there’s literally a grocery store next door. Worse they still charged me extra for almond milk. Poorly managed location.
waited for 25 mins no one at the cash register finally an employee came out of bathroom no apology no hello
25 minutes for one sandwich and a juice… Joe, the wait and the juice!
Had an issue with the app and the managee fixed the issue. He was very understanding and very hospitable.
Was excited to try Joe and the juice and was equally bummed to see such high prices with dirty seats and tables. The fabric sofas are stained and store needs a deep cleaning. Interior did not match the steep prices. Also did not understand why the cashier dealt with money then went on to make drinks and food?
Chicken sandwich was also cold and not appealing at all.
The prices are exorbitant. The employees are both apathetic, dismissive, insulting, and unprofessional, my being the targeted recipient of false accusation.
WOW I love this place! Seriously this place has taken over and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of their food and their customer service it’s BEYOND what any other establishment offers here. Thank you Dre and your team for the work you guys do! It’s heavily appreciated

Very nice I tried the spicy tuna sandwhich
Joe & The Juice at Wildwood Shopping Center in Bethesda is my go-to spot for a quick, healthy bite and refreshing juice, especially after my Solidcore classes. The Tunacado sandwich is a must-try—packed with flavorful tuna mousse, avocado, and pesto on crispy flatbread, it’s both satisfying and light. Pairing it with their Green Shield juice (loaded with cucumber, kale, spinach, and apple) makes for the perfect post-workout meal that feels clean and energizing.
Prices are a bit on the higher side, with sandwiches around $10-$13 and juices $9-$11, but you’re paying for high-quality, fresh ingredients that make you feel good. It’s a great option when you want something healthy, filling, and convenient without feeling heavy.
Parking at Wildwood is easy and free, with plenty of spots available, making it a stress-free stop whether you’re grabbing something to-go or sitting inside their modern, casual space.
If you’re looking for a nutritious, delicious meal or snack in Bethesda, Joe & The Juice is a great spot. The Tunacado and fresh juices keep me coming back, especially after an intense workout at Solidcore!
I’ve been coming to Joe’s for years and have never had an experience like this. I stopped by with my little sister to warm up and grab something during the snowstorm. Within 10 minutes, the GM approached us, asking if we planned to order—odd… considering orders are placed via phone or register and we were seated on the couch. I said yes we were thinking about it, and he responded, “the sooner, the better, since this area is for customers only.” (By this area he means the lounge space / normal cafe area).
I’ve never been pressured to order at a café before, especially while quietly sitting. Meanwhile, other groups—some bringing in outside food—were left alone. I placed an order for a $13 drink (which was just overpriced water and tasted awful) and set it for pickup in 15 minutes while I worked.
I wasn’t going to leave a review after the first interaction, but the second time he came up—and the way he handled it—left such a bad impression that I felt it was worth sharing. As my order was being brought out, the GM had come up to us AGAIN to tell us we had to leave because we weren’t customers… LOL. I pointed out that I had ordered and they were calling my name, he didn’t apologize or handle it professionally—he just made a face and muttered, “God bless” under his breath— to another woman sitting right next to us—who by the way hadn’t ordered a thing. Maybe there are exceptions for certain customers, but the double standard was obvious.
If you’re a professional looking for a place to work, be mindful—apparently, at this location, you need to buy something immediately or risk being harassed by the GM. And if he’s wrong? Don’t expect an apology. Just a look and some passive-aggressive comments. Definitely disappointing.
Oh and btw the couch / seating is disgusting. Covered in stains, food, marks— obviously not cleaned.
My drink was delicious and my sisters ate there and were very happy with their meal. Two thumbs up.
Place locks the doors before they are even supposed to be closed smh. 🤦🏻♂️ why have hours anyhow? Waste of a drive.
