The lunch buffet was excellent! Great variety and very generous with the ingredients. Lovely service, they brought a basket of fresh (still warm and steaming) delicious naan without me even asking. My only disappointment is that I've lived in the area for over a year and this my first time here, I so wish I would have tried it sooner! I will definitely be back as soon as possible.

The depth of flavor was lacking from the food. I kept biting into fennel seeds or some other spice that threw the taste of my food (yellow dal & chana masala veg family meal) off. The naan tasted slightly different as well, but the samosas were amazing. Not too impressed with this place

Great naans and a even better palak paneer!

his review is mainly focused on the buffet experience.

The restaurant itself is good and is one of the nicer-looking Indian restaurants in Bethesda. The restaurant was clean, the service was attentive, and everything seemed fine—until the food was brought out.

The buffet was a letdown with very limited choices. Most of the food tasted unremarkable, with a lot of dependence on plain tomato paste and spices. Being an Indian, I was hoping for authentic flavors, but the food tasted like it didn't take the flight from India at all. Chicken 65 was tasty but far too oily. Palak paneer was soft but had no taste, and chickpeas lacked any depth of flavor. On the brighter side, butter chicken was cooked to perfection and was a highlight. I also tried the Kashmiri kofta, and I must say, it's one of the top dishes here!

Meat lovers are treated to some good choices at this place. Vegetarians, on the other hand, have very limited options, so some of my family members were relegated to eating the same 2-3 dishes—a disappointing lapse for any Indian buffet.

If you are looking for Indian casual food, this place would do, but if you are looking for authentic, delicious food, you would likely want to keep looking. In total, I would rate it 3.5 stars.

Amazing food! Excellent service.

The service was horrible. When I walked in with my son in a stroller, the server didn’t ask me where I felt comfortable sitting, he insisted I should sit somewhere because this is where he thought I should sit with my baby. Not cool.

Then, once I received my food, it was like I didn’t exist. The server left us at the table and didn’t come back to check on me. I ate my food and walked to the cash register to check myself out 🙄. Hot mess.

And to add insult to injury, the company doubled-down on its decision to do what they did to me and my son.

Sir, no one sat at the larger table I asked for my baby and me sit at the whole time we were there.

You missed the point that you should be gracious that we even came in to patronize your business. You won’t ever have that pleasure again.

Really wonderful fresh food, and excellent service. I almost never leave reviews, but for this restaurant I will. You should definitely come here for dinner.

Based on the reviews here, we tried out Tikka Masala for lunch today. It was excellent. We chose to order from the menu, rather than the buffet. But it is hard to resist because as you walk in the smells from the buffet are amazing. We ordered an appetizer, 2 mains, and bread. We ate entirely vegan. The menu clearly marked gf and vegan options.
The staff were lovely. We will be back!

The host Raj is always very welcoming and make your experience very agreable. My family and I love Tika Masala and Highly recommend it.

Food took forever. They definitely seem to prioritize take out orders over clients sitting there indefinitely. The food tasted fine but we are unlikely to return.

All you can eat lunch for $18 weekdays ($20 Fri-Sun) is unbeatable. They allow for dine in or takeout! Amazing!
