The food was outstanding but make sure you note that you want indoors seating when reserving a table. I made a reservation weeks in advance but I was seated in the outdoor closed in section with heat lamps. The heat lamps were nice but they had ceiling fans blowing at the same time. While we finished our coffees, the heat lamps were turned off.

The Mon Ami Gabi staples, the mini baguette and the frites were as excellent as ever, but I was really suprised by the duck confit appetizer - very flavorful duck and the dish's other elements came together in a delicious way. Lastly, on a whim, I decided to order the cheeseburger - it was perfectly cooked to medium rare as ordered and the Mon Ami upgrades elevated this simple entre into one of the best burgers I've enjoyed in the DMV.

It was my first time going there in a while. The renovations look great, I felt like the food wasn't as good as I remembered it. They are also charging for the baguette now and I noticed there was a fee on the check that was put there during the pandemic by some restaurants, most dropped that fee, unfortunately Mon Ami Gabi still charges it for some reason.

We made a reservation at 10 am. Opening time, The hostess opened at 10:05 , quite many people were waiting outside. She opened without any saying Good morning or and greetings..no smile we reserved the round table and she said she can’t give it without any explanation. You should be more polite and respectful to your guests. I think the hostess needs to have good vibes
The waiter who has served us was such a nice gentleman with kind words and help.
Celebrated our Anniversary! 🤗 We were set up in a private booth which was nice. I liked the layout of the restaurant from indoors and outdoors The experience was amazing! Our server Frank was patient and attentive! And most importantly the food was super delicious by Chef Kavaughn! We will be back! Thank you!
