First time dining and enjoyed the atmosphere.The restaurant is beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed the onion soup and endive salad. The main entree mussels were delicious but the french fries were underwhelming.Soggy and not what we would have expected. My husband's dinner was lukewarm and he should have sent it back. He had steak frites with bordelaise sauce. we didn't have dessert and we both had a drink. I had the sauvignon blanc which was a large pour and my husband had the classic martini.

Oui oui! This gem is even more beautiful after a thorough renovation of the front cocktail lounge area. We enjoyed a birthday dinner out celebrating my husband on a Tuesday, and could not believe how packed it was especially on a week night. My father-in-law commented on the new bar taking up valuable space where they used to accommodate more traditional tables, but I thought it was a good compromise of the space with cozy booths and high tops/stools. This definitely lends itself to the corporate happy hour scene now and also was great for our multigenerational family outing with two small (very well-behaved, if I do say) kids needing a booster, drinks with tops, and even crayons with menus. For an upscale option in Bethesda, I've always found this gem to be remarkably welcoming and down to earth. I already can't wait to make our next reservation for a special milestone meal or random treat night out.

I had the trout almondine which was lightly crispy and flake tender. The green beans were perfectly cooked. The bananas foster crepe was a huge portion and appropriately gooey sweet. Never had a bad dish here. Pretty pricey but worth it

One of our favorite spots, confirmed again. Outstanding food, great service and magical ambiance. We asked for and got a round table in a corner, the staff was very attentive. We love their steak frites with béarnaise sauce (entrecote). We'll come again!

The new seating arrangements are a real plus. They are more comfortable, private and conducive to conversation. Our service was outstanding. Our server was as efficient as he was courteous and friendly. Sadly, our food was a disappointment. Our ahi tuna salad was far inferior to the same dish we had a few years ago. The generous amount of tuna looked good but had a strange, over-spiced taste. The vegetables, on the other hand, were almost tasteless. One of our group had profiteroles and they were good. An order of Bananas Foster was, however, overly sweet and sticky. Bottom line: Good new seating and the same very good service. Just bring back the previous good food.

Food and service is excellent but it's surprising that Mon ami Gabi had NO lunch specials like they used to and no less expensove items on menu for lunch in general Also it's a shame this company/ restaurant doesn't participate in restaurant week. Thst is not being customer friendly Foos is more expensove but there should be less expensove items on the menu as well But love the ambiance and service and food is delicious! Especially the fresh Babette and butter !!! Thank you

Ambient noise is loud!! No tablecloths., carpets or anything to absorb noise. Service was great, food very good but overall experience not pleasant as ambient noise was too much I won't likely go back unless they make changes
