Nordstrom Espresso Bar

This is one of our favorite spots to dine. Fantastic selections, yummy food and the service can't be beat...anywhere. We are always welcomed like family by everyone and Angelica always remembers are favorites! Thank you!!

Our server was great. Her name was Angelica and she was delightful, efficient, and what I would always want in a waitress. The food, as always, was delicious.

A friend and I had dinner at Nordstrom Market Place at Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) on Saturday, 1/18/2025. The dinner was exceptional. From the Chef's Selection menu, I chose the braised beef ragu served with cheese tortellini, and it was outstanding. I swear the tortellini tasted like it was made fresh just for me - it literally melted in my mouth. The braised beef was cooked to perfection. The ragu sauce, with chunks of tomato and spinach, was delicious. My friend had the tomato basil soup and a beautiful salad and said both were delicious. We had a 6 pm reservation but it wasn't needed as the restaurant was not crowded. On a scale of 1-5 (5 belong difficult to converse with others at your table), I give this restaurant a 0.5 - the room was peacefully quiet. We had no problem conversing with each other and there was no background music coming through the speakers. Staff were attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend this cozy restaurant and plan to return very soon.

Everything about our visit to Marketplace Cafe in Nordstrom Montgomery mall was fine except the noise level. The restaurant was only about 50% full at best but the noise level was very high. I did not see much in the way of sound dampening finishes and that should be considered.

This place is a scam! Looking at the nice pictures you expect a nice Cappuccino served in a cup. However, we got just paper cups although it was not to go. The muffin was not baked and had still raw dough in the middle. That's how you not want to start your day.

Angelia is wonderful and we enjoy seeing her every time we visit. The Cafe is a hidden gem with outstanding service and fabulous food. Thanks to the Chefs for keeping the menu consistent with our favs along with offering a few some new items to try.

I started loving this coffee better until the lady at the cashier showed me bad attitude , when I politely asked her my espresso she raised her tones “ you can go” I think some one can prove me wrong if this lady is not doing the same to other customers.

This place is a hidden gem and inaccurately named! Tucked away in the back of Nordstroms at the Montgomery Bethesda Mall, this full-service cafe offered a surprisingly diverse menu. We sampled the three soups available that night and would have been happy with all of them (roasted chicken noodle, tomato basil, and clam chowder - equally delicious!). Our waiter Gabriel was timely, attentive, and incredibly kind and friendly. Other wait staff jumped in immediately when I dropped my knife on the floor. Our meals were tasty and served quickly. This was a huge jump up from anything else available in the mall, and comparable to any decent restaurant nearby (and for a really reasonable price, considering what we ate). The pasta with shrimp and red sauce was the perfect amount of spicy, and the pesto chicken gnocchi was delicious. Finishing off with a lemon ricotta cookie, it was a delightful meal and fabulous experience. The place was so quiet, I hope the word gets out quickly that this is the place to eat at the mall!

Good coffee great service.

Coffee is not anything to write home about. Also, it's just outside of the Nordstrom, on the first floor, if you really want to spend some time looking for it.

Parking: It's in the mall, plenty of parking.
