I came here for a work meeting around lunch time. The parking lot is always crazy and you'll see people park in unmarked spots along the curb. Be prepared to wait 5 minutes as you look for a parking spot if you go during peak hours. The inside of the restaurant isn't big but it has a really nice atmosphere. It was busy during lunch rush hour but our group of 4 didn't need to wait to be seated. The service is fantastic and very friendly. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and it really was delicious but I didn't think it was amazing or spectacular. I wouldn't say it's overpriced because you are paying for the entire dine-in experience. Overall it's a good restaurant and I would recommend.

Just ate at this restaurant.. food was very poor quality . The owner was arrogant and dismissive in dealing with our feedback regarding the food whic. Requests were not honored.. As you can see the comments by the owner says it all.. .. And since the owner has leveled untrue accusations , I will add the following a friend was dining at the same time at another table and told me that evening there was a bug on their table and black specks in the milk that was brought with the coffee!

Excellent Italian restaurant, excellent chefs. The the spaghetti with tomato , olive oil sauce was fantastic . The grilled Salmon was the best I have ever had and I have been around the world . The Italian music was warm and sweet, not too loud . The service very good ! Go and enjoy !!!!!

I would have never visited this restaurant if it wasn't for my friend insistence The name of the restaurant threw me off, but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised The place was almost empty when we first came in, but suddenly the place was packed, it was an older crowd We ordered the calamari as our appetizers I had couple of margaritas and my friends had the Oakville tropical drink We proceed to order dinner I had the lemongrass shrimp and my friend ordered the scallops, good was exquisite, so was the service We share carrot cake which was moist and delicious

Atmosphere is ok. Restaurant was not super busy when we were there (a Tuesday night) and yet the wait staff kept bumping into our chairs. Food had no taste. Felt it was expensive for what you actually get. There are so many restaurants nearby, choose someplace else.

I decided to try this place after seeing some pictures of famous people posted on their store front. Food actually turned out to be decent. I ordered lemongrass shrimp and my friend ordered surf and turf. The portion is generous. The atmosphere could be more friendly. Our waiter was too business like and did not say a word besides "what would you like to order" and "are you done". Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would go back in the future.

Great service at the bar...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fact that they do not OVER-SALT the food! Great menu with a lot of selections that were very appealing. My only complaint, which is why I gave it 4 stars, is for the fact that the parmesan encrusted tilapia was not very fresh, however the rest of the plate, the mashed potatoes and broccoli, were superb. Also it's a perfect size restaurant to be casual at the bar or more formal at the tables. Try this place once!

My friends and my family have been there several times . We all loved the food and service. Even though the restaurant serves mostly seafood, I definitely recommend the Filet mignon and lamb shank dishes

Don't be taken back by the strip shopping center setting. Last night we stopped into Oakville for a mid week dinner and were so pleasantly surprised. After being greeted promptly and seated right away, we were pleased with the quiet and comfortable environment. The table was set with white cloth, real glassware and quality silverware. We looked over the menu and our group ordered the duck spring rolls and dumplings. Served promptly along with cocktails and we were already happy. Entrees were next and ordered the seafood risotto, grilled chicken, vegetable risotto, and the salmon. Each was cooked to perfection, portions were generous, and very tasty. We closed out by sharing the chocolate mousse desert and coffee. Overall a great experience, delicious food, nice service and beyond expectations. Not an inexpensive meal, but very pleasant and we will return.

Located in North Bethesda in a nice strip mall. I found this place by complete accident. My wife and I were looking to try someplace new and they had a Groupon+ offer so we decided to give this place a chance. This place is very cozy. Not too big and not too small. As you walk in you see all these pictures of famous people and politicians who have eat her. This was my first clue that this place must be good. Since we came for a late lunch and had not eaten yet that morning we were extremely hungry, so we did a quick look at the menu and ordered away. In the mean time they served warm complimentary raisin cinnamon bread. It was extremely good. I could of just ate that the whole time. We ordered the eggplant dip, wild mushroom pizza, ahi tartar, crab tower, tenderloin and salmon. About half way through we realized our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and there was no way we were going finish all this food in one sitting. The portion sizes are huge!! Anyway, everything was extremely good! The tenderloin was one of the best we've ever had. The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained. As for our waiter Elias he did an amazing job. He was personable, friendly and got all our orders correct without having to write anything down which I thought was impressive. Can't say enough good things about this place. We hope to get back here soon. Keep up the amazing job Oakville!!

Enjoyed the food! I had the duck spring rolls and flat iron steak topped with crumbled blue cheese. Both very good. Nice atmosphere and did not have to wait for a table on a Saturday night.

Oakville Grille is my go-to place for a nice dinner with work colleagues while in Bethesda. So much easier than heading to downtown Bethesda and the food is always delicious. My favorite is their lemongrass shrimp with a nice white wine - the servers always know which wines best compliment the dishes. It's usually good to get reservations no matter which day of the week but I've also had good luck walking in and asking if they can fit me in. Great shopping to be had right there in the shopping center even if there is a little bit of a wait.

Yummy food in what is basically a high end strip mall. My friend and I shared the scallop salad with passionfruit dressing, the scallops were cooked perfectly and the dressing was a bright mix of sweet and tangy. I had the pistachio and Parmesan crusted rockfish. It was delicious. My friend had a perfectly cooked filet mignon (I know it was perfectly cooked because I may have stolen a piece) add on a decent beer and wine selection and what's not to love.
