This place is a little hidden gem.
Food is southeast Asian: a mix of Japanese, Thai food options.
Its much menu is both delish & economically friendly.
It is small restaurant where the host greet you well, serve you well, and make sure you are at ease.
I have dined in & took takeaway from time to time. Menus so far u tried are: fried rice, masamaan red curry chicken, green curry vegetarian, rice with salmon, hot & sour soup, cucumber avocado maki roll, green tea, sake, desserts-

What a disgusting place and disgusting attitude of employees there! Ordered to dine in, the cashier said it would be faster to order to go. Sat down at the table and one of the employees came in and said that these tables are only for dining in. Sure, I switched my table to “to-go-only”. Not sure what the difference was - both tables right next to each other. Visited their restroom and was terrified. Dirty, no soap, paper towels laying around. Wow! The question I was thinking about when I was leaving the place - do these people have any standard at all?

Had the 2 roll lunch for 13$, noticed that the food was mediocre, and found the seats to be hard. Service was fine. Barely anyone there, so I should have taken that as a sign. A place has potential but I don't think living up to it at this time.

Lunch specials are a good deal. I had miso soup and two special sushi rolls for about $13. They also have some hot entries that I like.

I used to eat here all the time. Last night I had the sushi delivered (As I have done before) and got food poisoning. Will never eat their food again! The fish in the Sunrise roll or spicy tuna must have been bad. I put the service and atmosphere as 5-star because it was fine when I used to eat inside. The sushi has always been meh compared to other local places.

The food has gone way downhill. I threw most of it away. I wish something good would move in instead. If you like to eat greasy stir fried green bell peppers, then you will love their curries.

Christmas Eve dinner. A member of our party had a medical emergency just as our entrees were being served, and the staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. We all love Passion Fin! Thank you so much!

I’ve been going here now for about 8 years and Passion Fin has the most remarkable sushi in the DMV. It’s definitely in my top 3 sushi restaurants in Maryland. I can tell the pandemic hit them hard and they now are closed on Mondays due to understaffing. Prices have been raised so I can only justify getting some during lunch happy hour which ends at 2:45. They have good Miso soups to go and they have mastered their packaging for carry-out. There’s a few tables outside where I often enjoy my food outside but whenever I’m there closer to 3pm the inside of the restaurant is barren.

Literally found an ant in my food. Avoid at all costs. Picture attached. Too lazy to contact the health department.

Overall way over priced for the service and quality of food. Not only does the restaurant have a musky smell but the you can find better sushi at Sam's club or Harris for a better price.

Good price for the food quality, but the place needs to be updated. Menus have worn, ragged edges. Uninspired room decorations. I made the mistake of washing my hands before eating and the restrooms were really filthy. It was noon and we were some of the first customers in, so I expected the restrooms to be cleaned, but literally every part of the restroom was dirty, including the yellow "slippery floor" warning sign. Hibachi lunch was very good, fresh and tasty. Overall OK if you are in dire need of asian lunch.
