I can't give 5 stars to a place that charges $10 for a Gelato, but I guess EVERY business gouges in Bethesda. Nonetheless, once you go to the bank and get a HELOC to pay for your Gelato, it it some of the best Gelato I've had, and I've been to Italy. Rich, creamy, flavorful, fresh, and Hugh quality are some adjectives to describe the Gelato. Definitely recommend.

I don’t know what is the deal with their employees. It’s the second time I come and NOBODY in the front . I had to wait several minutes… over 10 min to someone to decide to show up! Such a bad service.

This is a great coffee shop. The gelato is awesome as well as the selection of pastries. Espresso bevarages are well made and taste like a fresh roast.

Delicious affogatto, my new indulgence. Makes me feel like I'm not indulging, but c'mon, rich vanilla gelato with espresso on top? Soft, creamy, rich, almost stretchy gelato with dark thick slightly bitter espresso. Ah, the contrasts-- the contradictions. My friends enjoyed their nocciola (hazelnut), crema and pumpkin pie gelatos. Delicious baked goods too.

The Gelato is pretty good, but expensive. The coffee is passable. There are better places for coffee, but I think this is the best spot in Bethesda that I’ve been for gelato so far.

Their flavors are good but it's a bit too soft. It melts very fast. They give small portions scoops. There are better gelato options in Bethesda.

On the edge of a trendy neighborhood with a variety of shops nearby, this place oozes location. Outdoor seating available and indoors is roomy with more tables. High ceilinged and spacious this joint offers a curated range of coffee flavors and related offerings. We got there mid week near closing time, had the place mostly to ourselves. We liked our quality coffee, that we weren't rushed, and the relaxing atmosphere

I can never walk by a Pitango without going in and getting the most delicious gelato imaginable! Worth the price and then some.

I was so excited about the espresso gelato I forgot to snap a pic. It was really good, had some ground up espresso beans but it did not mess up the texture of the Gelato. The staff was helpful with handing out samples, I was torn between two flavors. The chocolate sorbet was delicious very rich and choclatey will be back for that flavor.

After a very good dinner across the street, we decided to go over and get some gelato. What a terrible experience. After waiting almost 20 minutes just to pay because the credit card machine wasn’t working I offered cash. To which the manager responded rudely we don’t take cash. Apparently after you wait 10 more minutes they will take the cash and won’t even think about giving you change. Horrible customer service and flavorless gelato. I do not recommend.
