Yesterday we went out for dinner and had one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. My family and I usually visit many restaurants, but the experience we had at Planta was truly exceptional. The service was outstanding—by far the best we’ve seen recently. The General Manager, Daniel, was amazing. His attentiveness and the way he connected with my family in such a respectful and genuine manner is something you rarely see. His professionalism and knowledge were evident throughout our visit. We’re extremely grateful, as it’s not often you receive such an exceptional experience. We’ll definitely be back soon—Planta has officially become our new favorite spot!

I've been to Planta a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is SO good (crispy rice, i love you!) and the service is phenomenal. You'd never guess that everything is vegan and it's a great alternative if you're not a meat eater or you're just looking for something new. 10/10 recommend!

Planta Bethesda used to be one of our very favorite restaurants. We took non-vegan friends there frequently and we traveled from Prince William County at least every other month.
Unfortunately, they have trimmed their menu down to where there is only about 1/3 of the offerings they used to have.
It used to be considered a higher end restaurant and so we went for our anniversary last night… all dressed up. When we got there, pretty much everyone was in jeans, and it was obvious why. The menu has become more of a quick bite, fast food type place. If I was going to be in the area, I would stop in, but I definitely would not drive over an hour to get there ever again. What a disappointment.

This must be a “take out version” of “Bang bang broccoli” because there’s no way this much is $16. I’m sure I got more than this a few weeks ago when I came and sat down to this location. This is insane! Definitely not worth the money. This is like one stalk of broccoli if you wanna look at that way. Smh never again.

An incredible restaurant experience with amazing attention to detail and an extremely creative menu. Sarah was a great server and helped us pick items off of the menu. the watermelon ngiri was delicious. Although sometimes vegan restaurants feel uninspired and cheap, this place was filling and innovative. 5/5 all around, will be coming back to try their brunch menu.

I visited this restaurant when I was in the area and it dis not disappoint! This is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta so I was excited to dine here in MD. While it did not have my favorite meal of Chicken and Waffles, my experience was Great! The GM, Food, Service and Atmosphere were top knotch
