Strictly for PEOPLE NEW to Potbelly -
My first time trying out this sandwich chain, and my first impression - I like Subway better. Way better. I mean yes, Potbelly also has soup options, but sandwich wise, I wasn't impressed.

It's a little more expensive than Subway, and the sandwich ingredients are way less too.

The atmosphere however is tons better, an 8/10 as compared to a generic Subway being 6/10.

Came in today for the first time and all I ordered was chili Mac soup. The guy rang me up and tried to leave without putting my food in a bag long with utensils. I had to asked for a bag and a spoon. Terrible SERVICE!!!! Bad energy and body language.

I ordered the new prime rib steak and about half way through the sandwich, I saw a “BEST BY” date tag that was in the sandwich. This is not acceptable with the lack of quality control for this place. The sandwich also was suppose to come with caramelized onions and it did not.

I got a refund after reporting this and bringing back the sandwich. I will not be coming back here!

This is my first time eating at Potbelly and it started off as a very rocky experience. But thanks to one of the friendlier staff members (unfortunately one staff member refused to acknowledge me verbally at any point of my visit, which is the reason this isn't a 5 star review), I was able to enjoy my meal and would definitely try Potbelly again!

This is by far the WORST Potbelly’s I have ever been to. I was so excited to get a sandwich because I haven’t had one in a while. When I bit into my sandwich it was nothing like I expected. Nothing like the Potbelly’s I remember. The onions were huge, the meat was skimp, & the overall taste just wasn’t good, smh. On top of that I ordered a milkshake & it was made with the wrong flavors not once, but twice. To top it all off my cookies were hard as a rock. SINCE WHEN ARE THEIR COOKIES HARD?! I probably won’t even go back to that location. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because of the customer service I received.

This is my first visit to this Potbelly location, and the service was nothing short of a disappointment. I gave my complete order to the 1st employee: the pick two, sandwich, vegetable soup, and strawberry shake. I waited several minutes past my sandwich coming out of the warmer, (the person infront of me had already paid and left.) Another server came over and started helping and asked what I wanted to start my order. I said the other employee that they had already started my order and restated my order and pointed at the sandwich at the end of the warmer. Then they walked away and went to the register and came back and asked me to re-state my order 3rd time, I repointed at my sandwich, sitting at the end of the warmer and she picked it up and brought it over, Then asked a 4th time to repeat my order. Mind you, it was not a polite way. It was rude and as if they didn't care to listen. Service was slow, lazy, and lacked any sort of enthusiasm, coupled with unprofessional behavior. I finally received my sandwich and paid for my order. After paying, having ordered a milkshake, they said they didn't have strawberry, so I said oreo was good. I sat down to start my sandwich, which was cold by then, to wait for my milkshake. I noticed she didn't start making my shake but went to the back of the store and was doing other things. It was 15 minutes later, and I finished eating and went up to see and about the milk shake from the person I directly ordered it from and was told, "Huh, what?" I repeated myself AGAIN, they said unapologetically."Oh, I forgot." I said I needed to leave, I came with other people, who couldn't wait anylonger. We all had already finished our food. I asked for a refund for the shake, the manager came over and was unapologetic too and seemed to be bothered with me, because he wouldn't process my refund and only took a picture of my reciept with his phone and said he will have to go to the back and do some paperwork and I'll maybe get the refund 2-4 days!!??!! SMH!

First time trying Potbelly. Heard nothing but good things. Decided to walk to the one across from my apt. The person who was working at 615ish PM on 12/29 has to have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Walked in, “do you know what you want? What is it?” Not a simple greeting. After toasting my sandwich “what toppings you want?” When I got home and saw the sandwich I paid for I was even more annoyed. I ordered a grilled chicken club and got no bacon, BLACK avocado , and wilted lettuce. He clearly didn’t want to be there and that resulted in a trash sandwich.

Ordered my sandwich and it was sent through the toaster and then left to sit for ten minutes without being finished or handed to me. Since I hadn’t paid yet at that point, I walked out; I had somewhere to be and hadn’t counted on a sandwich to take so long to make.

It looked like it would have been yummy though, so I do look forward to trying Potbelly again another time, perhaps at a different location with more energetic staff.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and it was made incorrectly. I asked them to fix it which they did without question.

HOWEVER, I got home with my sandwich and the they didn’t even put any chicken salad on the sandwich! It was just lettuce! How is this even possible???

Ive been to many potbelly establishments which i wood typically reward 5 stars to however this establishment was nothing short of a disappointment. The service was slow, lazy and lacked any sort of enthusiasm, coupled with unprofessional behavior. Having ordered a milkshake, I expected the 1 of the 3 workers to begin making it however one of them was just on their phone. 3 minutes after I was handed my sandwich that I ordered, my strawberry milkshake had finally began to be made. Once I was given my milkshake I began to drink it approximately 20 seconds later. Then I discovered my milkshake wasnt even cold, it had the texture of water and had a sour aftertaste. However the sandwich was perfect.
