AVOID!!!
This is my first visit to this Potbelly location, and the service was nothing short of a disappointment. I gave my complete order to the 1st employee: the pick two, sandwich, vegetable soup, and strawberry shake. I waited several minutes past my sandwich coming out of the warmer, (the person infront of me had already paid and left.) Another server came over and started helping and asked what I wanted to start my order. I said the other employee that they had already started my order and restated my order and pointed at the sandwich at the end of the warmer. Then they walked away and went to the register and came back and asked me to re-state my order 3rd time, I repointed at my sandwich, sitting at the end of the warmer and she picked it up and brought it over, Then asked a 4th time to repeat my order. Mind you, it was not a polite way. It was rude and as if they didn't care to listen. Service was slow, lazy, and lacked any sort of enthusiasm, coupled with unprofessional behavior. I finally received my sandwich and paid for my order. After paying, having ordered a milkshake, they said they didn't have strawberry, so I said oreo was good. I sat down to start my sandwich, which was cold by then, to wait for my milkshake. I noticed she didn't start making my shake but went to the back of the store and was doing other things. It was 15 minutes later, and I finished eating and went up to see and about the milk shake from the person I directly ordered it from and was told, "Huh, what?" I repeated myself AGAIN, they said unapologetically."Oh, I forgot." I said I needed to leave, I came with other people, who couldn't wait anylonger. We all had already finished our food. I asked for a refund for the shake, the manager came over and was unapologetic too and seemed to be bothered with me, because he wouldn't process my refund and only took a picture of my reciept with his phone and said he will have to go to the back and do some paperwork and I'll maybe get the refund 2-4 days!!??!! SMH!

First time trying Potbelly. Heard nothing but good things. Decided to walk to the one across from my apt. The person who was working at 615ish PM on 12/29 has to have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Walked in, “do you know what you want? What is it?” Not a simple greeting. After toasting my sandwich “what toppings you want?” When I got home and saw the sandwich I paid for I was even more annoyed. I ordered a grilled chicken club and got no bacon, BLACK avocado , and wilted lettuce. He clearly didn’t want to be there and that resulted in a trash sandwich.

I am so happy with my experience! Can’t go wrong with a chicken club, and the quick and friendly service is quite a plus. Jay really knows how to “bring the hot”!

Ordered my sandwich and it was sent through the toaster and then left to sit for ten minutes without being finished or handed to me. Since I hadn’t paid yet at that point, I walked out; I had somewhere to be and hadn’t counted on a sandwich to take so long to make.
It looked like it would have been yummy though, so I do look forward to trying Potbelly again another time, perhaps at a different location with more energetic staff.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and it was made incorrectly. I asked them to fix it which they did without question.
HOWEVER, I got home with my sandwich and the they didn’t even put any chicken salad on the sandwich! It was just lettuce! How is this even possible???

Ive been to many potbelly establishments which i wood typically reward 5 stars to however this establishment was nothing short of a disappointment. The service was slow, lazy and lacked any sort of enthusiasm, coupled with unprofessional behavior. Having ordered a milkshake, I expected the 1 of the 3 workers to begin making it however one of them was just on their phone. 3 minutes after I was handed my sandwich that I ordered, my strawberry milkshake had finally began to be made. Once I was given my milkshake I began to drink it approximately 20 seconds later. Then I discovered my milkshake wasnt even cold, it had the texture of water and had a sour aftertaste. However the sandwich was perfect.

It wasn't memorable tried it first time, I tried to use their free delivery service the manager was unsure how to honor Deal from website for a large catering order. Now the sandwich steak sub was fantastic. Love knowing you have voodoo zapps chips so not a total loss.

I think this chain use to be good years ago but it has definitely gone downhill. The sandwiches just don’t seem to have any taste to them which makes no sense but it was my first thought when I tried the pizza sandwich and the Italian. They also seem have shrunk in size so it’s around $10 for half a sandwich. Many other better places to get deli these days it’s a shame these restaurants take up prime real estate.

So I love Potbelly. I go there often and love the food especially any sandwich with hot peppers. I go to a potbelly probably on average once a week for the last several years. Overall I’d give Potbelly 5 stars on food and service for being delicious and fast.
However, the last 3 times I have ordered from this Potbelly they have gotten my to-go order meaningfully incorrect and it’s frustrating when you get home and open up your bag and it’s nothing like what you ordered. The latest example: I ordered a Turkey Avocado sandwich with cheddar and double meat on thin cut white. I got a sandwich with literally no meat or cheddar cheese - literally just avocado and some orange sauce and maybe feta (not sure what) on wheat bread. One other sandwich was also made incorrectly with hot peppers (not ordered) which my kid won’t eat. I called the store and spoke to a nice manager who was filling in here and I was promised a refund. Unfortunately - I have gone through this process here more than once in the past and so far have never gotten any credit or refund. I will keep going but I wish they would figure out how to get better at order accuracy.
However the cookies are always delicious. Don’t miss those.
UPDATE: I reached out again and they refunded the order above, and I was happy with the service.

Picture this: you haven't eaten all day and are craving a delectable potbelly sandwich. You are aroused at the smell of the toasted bread. You cannot wait to take a creamy bite dripping in nice warm mayo, crispy bread, and juicy roast beef. You walk in the door and am greeted by a hoodlum, he "crip" walks up to you, flicks your wewe, and says "boioioioioing."The only rational response to this is to call him the appropriate racial slur, flick his wewe, and leave. I am not racist so I just flicked his wewe and left.Someone else left this picture with the culprit (below with his big ahh head)P.S. it kinda turned me on

Excellent!5 year update: been eating Potbelly for 15 years. Potbelly has gone downhill so much...Too much change by some white collar business grads imo. The final straw is the rework of the rewards on the app. First they got rid of their good mayo, its now just cheap kraft cr##. Used be something special and rich. Bacon is different. It used to be thick and peppery and well with ot. They messed with the sandwich sizes a while back too. You get less for more money. The portions are just off. The wreck used to be a meaty sandwich. Used to feel like brick in your hand at the register. Now it feels like a limp ####. Final straw they messed with the rewards app. Pionts are almost 50% less. No longer do you get your one free big sandwich every 1000 points now it's 1500.Enjoy going the way of Quiznos. It's just not worth it to go out of ones way to a potbelly any longer. It has lost its way.

I received an incorrect order via a delivery service. When I called the manager, she not only re-made my order on another day, but she also had it delivered to my office. Way to correct a mistake, Potbelly team!
