Actually made reservations and was running late and they were quite accommodating. My friend actually wanted to eat at the Bar so we ended up letting them know we wanted to eat at the bar and again they were very understanding. We enjoyed eating off their happy hour menu and I had the classic margarita and the crispy chicken thighs I can complain. The food had generous portions and the margarita was solid. Would recommend this place.

I had a great dining experience here. We had a drink at the bar then went to the dining room for an early dinner. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were creative and well-made. The bartenders were very friendly and personable, fun to chat with, and incredible at their craft and the wait staff was professional and attentive. It is a bit on the pricier side. The menu was well thought out and our meals had incredible flavor. Parking was a bit unclear, and we ended up using the valet service, which, unfortunately, was not complimentary, even with our meal. Despite the parking situation, which honestly is the case for most restaurants in the area, I'd highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or a treat.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since 2024 . I’ve lived in around this area my whole life. This place was recently just built and I must say it is the absolute beautiful hotel Marriott I’ve seen.
Their food is outstanding. I’ve been here for brunch with one of my best friends and her family. They have an excellent brunch selection and I’ve also been here for dinner which is also very good. Including their drinks 🍹. They also have a rooftop bar area, which is outstanding as well. I went up there for the new year eve and it was very beautiful.
Definitely will be a regular customer here.
Parking: There is a garage parking available across the street certain times of the week. It is free.

The food was amazing. The service was ok(there was a longer than expected wait on the food coming out, but as long as it was good, no issues for me 4🌟), and the drinks were great.

It was a quiet night. Not very busy. The servers were FANTASTIC! They made us feel special.
Parking: Multi-level parking deck. You have to pay at the pay kiosk. You don't have to leave the receipt on the dash
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has excellent ramps and the entry points accomodate wheelchairs easily.

Sat down in the designated outdoor area after the hostess told me that’s where I should sit to be waited on. I waited over ten minutes and no one had come over. Probably because I didn’t look like the other customers. Disappointing really since the marketing was well done.

Even though it's a hotel bar, this is in our regular rotation. Lots of locals are doing the same as well. Service is usually quite good, though they can often get slammed with happy hours, conferences, weddings, etc. If it's slammed, expect things to be slow. Fair enough.
When not slammed, it's a great, quiet spot to get work done, and absolutely lovely on a nice day when they open up the wall for an indoor/outdoor bar experience. Outdoor seating also has heaters and fire pits. It's the sort of bar where you can really park yourself and chill for a bit.
Beer lines need some love, as does the selection. Not the best. But the cocktails are quite good and almost all the bartenders are top of their game. Jacob, Owen, Jess, and Matt know their stuff.
Big local secret: This is now the home of the Mighty Mo burger. Or, at least, a pale (healthier) shadow of that Hot Shoppes classic. For those of us who grew up with the Mighty Mo, anything close to it is a pleasure. It's super pricey at $25, but it is good.
Parking: Lots of street and garage options. All safe.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible. It's in the hotel lobby, and has low bar counters for wheelchairs.

Very slow service by two different people, having ordered just a salad. Was told the salad took so long--half an hour-- as they had to cook the chicken separately due to a gluten allergy. It was then just placed on the side of the plate.I have no problem with cross contamination but was not asked by the person who took the order. Other restaurants do generally ask. Had I been asked it would not have taken so long, and it would have been on the salad, as it should have been.

My best friend and I went for a lovely lunch around 12pm. Hostess was very sweet and helpful even recommended my now favorite dish, server was pleasant as-well. It was not busy at all despite being attached to a hotel, making it great to get some work done, catch up with friends, or just pop in for lunch like we did . Definitely a hidden gem and I will be returning soon!
Food ordered:
King ora salmon- soooo lovely 10/10 beautifully cooked and garnished. The fingerling potatoes were so crispy and seasoned just right.
Old bay crispy chicken- my bestfriend enjoyed it very much. I also nibbled a few fries (lol!) and they are definitely fresh and the old bay is not overpowering.
Beverages ordered-
Crimson crush( non alcoholic mocktail) - 9/10 gorgeous presentation, no smudging on the glass. Flower garnish was a superb touch especially for visual eaters like myself.
We absolutely cleared our plates, no take home boxes needed! Make Seventh state your next DMV restaurant destination, you won’t regret it!

A lovely restaurant and bar in Bethesda. I believe it is a part of the Marriott hotel.
Unique refreshing and delicious food. Excellent service and if I may add ask for Griffin to wait on you. He's absolutely delightful. Very knowledgeable he gave us excellent recommendations.

10/10 would HIGHLY recommend. The atmosphere, the staff, the food and the drinks were AMAZING. They made us feel so special on our anniversary and I’m already planning my birthday dinner with you guys in February. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Kid-friendliness: We bought our one year-old with us and the staff were super accommodating and super helpful with our dining experience. Dakota Dakota

Ask to sit in Journey’s section if you can she was amazing. I’m sure all of the servers a great though, and if Jacob is at the bar your cocktails ? will be perfection! Order the Maryland crab cake sandwich, I got the single only because I didn’t know what to expect, boy do I regret not getting the double. No filler, all pure LUMP meat. This seafood and BLUE crab lover raises the roof for these crab cakes. Also the Smith Island Cake with Caramel Praline ice cream ?. I only left because they had to set the tables for breakfast otherwise I was going to stay until they reopened for lunch…the next day. OMG!!! I dreamt of those crab cakes last night. 7th State, you betta ask somebody!!!!

Not your run of the mill hotel restaurant. Great apps and mains. Hanger steak was perfectly cooked and ample portion. Friendly, professional staff. I’d go here regardless if you’re staying at hotel. Bar staff was great as well.
