Crispy fried Chicken thighs and French fries were a 10/10!Seasoned well, highly recommend absolutely great paired with their wonderful ranch and hot sauce. The crab cake I didn’t have to have honestly. The lobster Mac was great but I didn’t like the taste of the actual lobster inside. Service was good. I will say the Water tasted funny to me, and the guest I ate with as well so I’d get soda next time.

Typical hotel restaurant. Good service. My chicken and waffles were well presented, but the waffles were cold and obviously sitting for awhile, while the chicken was piping hot.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance at street level. Wide open spaces and would be easy to maneuver with a wheelchair or walker if you have a group and people have mobility issues.

Met a girlfriend for drinks and light apps. It's very pretty, light and open. Elijah and Jacob took very good care of us. They were attentive and made good recommendations. I wasn't that hungry so we ordered the charcuterie board with the meat and cheese served separately as I'm a pescetarian and my girlfriend had the kale Caesar salad with blackened salmon. The drinks were tasty as well. I had the Moscow mule and she ordered a lemon drop martini. She said that was one of the best drinks she's had in a while. We got there in the last few minutes of HH, but would definitely go back if for no other reason the service.

Ambiance was really nice. No one greeted us as we walked in. We stood around at counter and waited to be seated for a bit. Hostess came eventually and she was kind. Seating is a bit tight but cozy.Food took FOREVER to arrive to table. We were there about 3 hours total. Way too long. Waitress was super nice but we didn’t see her much and had to flag her down to get service. Food … presentation was impressive but food was mediocre, overpriced and just nothing spectacular about it. I’ve had better for much less. The smash potato things were the best. And food came to table cold. For $300 I expected much better food and quality. But it was a nice date night out.

A few friends suggested this place for Bethesda restaurant week. Located next door to the Marriott international headquarters, there's plenty of parking and it's metro accessible. It has an open and bright ambiance. Lots of outdoor seating when it gets warm. The staff are very nice and welcoming. Service was prompt. The only problem was that they didn't have one of the two main entrees they chose for restaurant week. They also didn't offer to substitute out the item which was odd. Overall the food was good. American flare but not too exciting. This is a place to go when you want something reliable in a nice atmosphere.

Our meals and drinks were very good. We recommend the short rib, fried green tomatoes, and chicken and dumplings. You can skip the Smith Island Cake. The drinks were great. The atmosphere is lively because the hotel bar lounge is only a few feet away. But it's not raucous or loud. Also, head up to the Hip Flask rooftop bar before or after dinner.

I and a friend visited to celebrate an occasion, we ordered the bread plate with plain butter and fruit jam substituting the default spreads. Both substitutions the waiter confirmed but were ignored by the kitchen. If we were allergic it could have been a series safety risk. The food overall was mediocre, sauces overpowering the centres of entrées . I will not be back.Dietary restrictions: Would not recommend to anyone with dietary restrictions.

First time visiting the restaurant/lounge located at the Bethesda Marriott. I agree with the other reviewers, the decor was beautiful & modern, clean, with a casual atmosphere. Our waiter, Leah, was very kind & knowledgeable of the menu and recommended a few dishes.Drinks: Raised by Rum and Bee Right - both very flavorful 10/10.For starters: Crab soup - full of lump crab, a must have! 10/10.Entrees: Cobb Salad w/ Salmon- the salmon was blackened and seasoned to perfection, 10/10. The Chicken and waffles- seasoned to perfection and paired well with the waffles, 10/10.Desert: Banana Bread Pudding- paired perfectly with the marshmallow ice cream 10/10.The food was so amazing that we requested to speak to the chef. Chef Swank took the time to greet our table, we were delighted ! Swank was extremely hospitable and recommended the corn fritters for our next visit since they were not listed on the brunch menu. We asked if we could try them anyways and he was happy to accommodate us ! The corn fritters were filled with lump crab meat and flavor, 10/10.In total for two people we spent approximately $150 which I felt was a fair amount for the quality service and food we received.Overall… the service was excellent and the food quality is top-notch.Truly a satisfying experience!Parking: The parking garage across from the restaurant/hotel is open to the public (free) during the weekend.

I enjoyed my brunch at Seventh State. The brunch menu is limited which is just fine with me. Less choices means less time for waiting. Our waitress was so sweet and her service was really good. The menu is standard. Every day brunch items so if you're looking for something new and exciting. This wouldn't be the place. Now..was I expecting my drink to come with a smoking cinnamon stick? Heck nah! But it was a nice touch. Did it add anything to the drink? No.I had the half and half soup and the Cobb salad. Everything was delicious! The bread was sooo good. I would expect it to be because you can't really mess up soup and salad. Now as far as the pricing goes. I do believe it's a bit too pricey for the menu that it is. But overall, I would still come back.

Seventh State has a very limited menu but the options are great. Makes it easier to figure out what to eat as well. Cocktails were very good. My co-diner said the Manhattan was one of the best ever. Loved the seating and the staff were all very friendly.

I came here when staying at the hotel and was really really impressed. I got the Caesar salad with a crab cake and my fiancé got one with salmon. It was fantastic. I know MD crab cakes and this one was excellent. The salad was really good as well especially the cornbread croutons. I also tried the peach cobbler and it's served with I d cream from a local shop with in was really great!

Went to dinner on 12/29 and we had an amazing evening!! Every aspect of the night was exceptional. Greeted by the hostess with enthusiasm and met our server right away. Sarah was fabulous - caring, attentive, helpful with food selections, and along with the wonderful food, made this night super special. Will definitely go beck again, and again!!
