Got a rack of ribs, potato salad and collards. Ribs were so dry we couldn't eat them. Potato salad smelled and tasted weird. Collards were good. Ordered through Uber Eats will never order again.

Unfortunately, it was really bad. There was meat in the potato salad. The brisket had a funny smell. I couldn't eat it. The ribs had an odd taste. I needed up ordering from somewhere else right after.

First off, restaurant has cool and iconic decor, unlike the smoothed-out genteel look of most Bethesda restaurants. I can't say I tried a broad array from the menu, but the brisket chili was absurdly good! Also, a really good selection of brews, including local favorites like Surrender Dorothy. Definitely will be back.

My husband and I were craving food and I will say this is the most disgusting BBQ we have ever had. I’m so confused out they were able to serve it. I felt physically sick after a bite of Mac and Cheese. I got pulled pork and it tasted days old and like it was microwaved. Please save your money.

If I could give 0 stars I would! The food was terrible! You know NOTHING about smoked brisket! It was fatty in some places....hard to chew in others. It was minced and diced liked dog food.....not sliced as it should be. The scalloped potatoes were salty! And what was up with the cole slaw! Dry as the desert. No dressing, just shredded cabbage and carrots. The Mac n cheese was alright but nothing to write home about! Each plate comes with the hardest driest cornbread I ever seen. It was inedible!! This is what you guys call BBQ on the east coast!! I beg to differ! I paid 70 bucks for this dining monstrosity!! This was $69.50 too much!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS CRAP.

Ordered 10 BBQ wings with BBQ sauce on the side. Got 7 BBQ wings with ranch on the side.But, … they’re still the best wings in Bethesda, they always pick up the phone, and is very friendly. And thanks for looking out for my cholesterol level! Five stars!

First timers here. Had ribs, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. We had a starter of onion rings. Really excellent food and superb service. Unpretentious atmosphere with reggae music and lots of guitars on the wall. Definitely recommend.
Brisket was just not good. Tasteless grey meat. The ribs were tasty but weren’t smoked long enough.

I not only enjoyed my meal but also my time here. The BBQ plater I had was great, but do not miss out on a very delicious peach cobbler! Service was super attentive and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Everyone who walked in the place to sit and eat were also very friendly. I do recommend this place if you are craving some great food and service!
Odered a “Quarter Rib + 2 meats platter” to take-away for dinner. I was surprised to see that the portion (see attached image) was TINY given the cost of the platter - 27$. It comes with coleslaw and cornbread and your choice of side (I picked sweet potato fries) but after checking the receipt at home I realized we were actually charged 2,50$ extra for one of the meats that was supposedly included in the platter.The food was mediocre at best - the best meat was definitely the ribs. The fries were extremely soggy as they were packaged hot and covered right away.So sad to have had this first-time experience with Smoke BBQ.

Came in and was greeted immediately. Relaxed atmosphere and speedy service. The BBQ was incredible. Spicy BBQ sauce was the perfect amount of heat.Parking: Plenty of metered spots.

A decent BBQ option in Bethesda. Lots of craft beers to choose from and a varied menu. Be aware that you order at the counter then go have a seat. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich along with some appetizers. Mozzarella sticks were very good, mac and cheese was decent and the pulled pork didn't disappoint. If you're used to more authentic BBQ you probably won't be a fan.
