I ordered the Al Pastor and Chicken Tinga tacos, which were probably the worst tacos I've ever had.
The tacos were bland and had an unpleasant dirty dishwater smell. The meat on both was dry, which is especially surprising for a chicken thigh taco. The Al Pastor tacos had hardly any toppings, just a very thin slice of pineapple and a couple tiny pieces of onion.
I'm not a picky eater by any means, but I couldn't even finish my meal.

Very expensive even for Bethesda standards. $6 USD for a Fish Taco, $9 USD for a Quesadilla and add to that taxes and tips and you end up with a fancy dinner, price wise. The food tasted good though but not enough value for money in my opinion.
EDIT: While prices haven't really increased since I wrote my last review, the recent revamp of the menu has unfortunatley seen a steady decline. The Tacos have become less authentic, the chicken is now suddenly breaded and the salsas are different and taste less good. I won't be coming back unfortunately.

This place is awesome! Excellent service, superior food and a fun atmosphere.
Very nice outdoor seating and great atmosphere. I really like retractable doors and how it opens up the restraunt. Tacos were wonderful and they have well flavored chips. Also totally worth going on Tuesday for their buy one, get one tacos for taco tuesday.

I had lunch at Tacombi and it was good experience.
I ordered the frozen Piña Colada and really enjoyed it. It was my first time have a cocktail with ten to one rum. Very delicious, refreshing, and smooth.
Food wise, I ordered the sweet potato & black bean tacos. Lots of flavor and a just a touch of heat. I enjoyed the food, but wouldn't go out of my way to come back.
The atmosphere was different from what I've seen before. It was an industrial yet tropical Mexican vibe.
