The Original Pancake House

First time at this restaurant. Food and general atmosphere were fine. Our server was a little slower than you would expect but we are senior citizens and not in a rush and it was busy. We wanted a pleasant Saturday brunch. The waitress was rude to the point that we won’t be back which is why the 3 stars for service.

It is understandable that the restaurant requires all members of a party to be present before seating them. However, the lack of a comfortable waiting area and limited parking can be inconvenient for guests. Despite this, the food is highly recommended and appears to be worth the inconvenience.

Everyone knows IHOP, say no more. I had a delicious Ellen ? Guacamole and softboiled egg on croissant. Good prices. In and out fast.

The family came to this place to eat and the food was delicious and awesome. The family ordered crepes, pancakes, and others and the service was busy and the atmosphere was quiet and noisy.

Im one to give people alot of chances. It wasnt even the wait that was annoying because thats normal. Its the fact that she basically forgot about us. And kept giving is a single dish one at a time every 15 minutes. We wouldve rather keep everything in the kitchen to stay warm and bring it all together. And also forgetting stuff that comes with the dish but then charging us extra just because we kindly reminded that it was missing. Then after she gave us attitude each time…..once again. Even through all this we never gave her any attitude or even showed her that we were upset. But she literally never came back to us. The place wasnt even busy. She never asked if we were okay, how the food is (not good at all but whatever) NOTHING. We showed nothing but smiles the whole time and got nothing back but attitude and being ignored. Not caring about us atleast all

This is a very popular place. Like a old school diner. Huge menu of every kind of pancake or waffle that you want. Huge portions. Service was pretty quick. They were almost full. Ambiance is good. Gave me diner energy.

shakshuka tasted more like poached eggs in spaghetti sauce. completely missed the Moroccan influences of cumin etc.

Barely edible sausage. Spongey crepes. Rye bread that isn't really rye bread, ditto freshly squeezed OJ. Runny egg whites on what should have been over easy. Awful coffee. And all this at a very high price.

We were seated right away, but then we waited quite a while for someone to come take our order. Once our order was taken, the waiter was really nice, but he forgot our waters. Our order came out and it was wrong, but it was fine. We got it fixed, and got our waters after getting our waiter's attention.

My son loves this place for its pancakes so we go for him but so far my eggs have always come out cold.
