I love Urban Plates. Their food never fails to disappoint and it seems like they're a rare gem making home food reminiscent of what Mom used to put on the table. Always excited to stop here, even if it's a bit pricier than what I'd normally spend on mall food.
First time visit, got the steak with bleu cheese, mashed potatoes, and Mac n cheese, and a vanilla cream soda. A little pricey for lunch, but the quality was great. Portions were good, maybe slightly large for me but that could be because I decided to try two starches, I love them both and wanted to check both here. The Mac could have been warmer and a little creamier, but it had great flavor. The mashed seemed like it might have been high quality dried potatoes, slightly thin...
Yesterday was the first time we visited this restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the exceptional meal and fine drinks and with the friendly cost. We will definitely return there again.
