Workers were slow and spent their time laughing and talking to each other, ignoring orders. Ordered regular coffee and two sausage egg and cheese croissants. No line with one other person waiting for their food. Three workers behind counter with one (she was the one who took my order) running back and forth to storage to restock with the other two to manage the counter, food and coffee. After first customer received her sandwich I wait another five minutes watching just one of my sandwiches being made. The croissant was cut, cheese placed and premade egg and sausage place on before being microwaved for 30 seconds. The second was never made while first sandwich stayed in microwave for another few minutes before I asked the lady restocking about my order. She replied it was already made on other side to which I checked and nothing was placed. The one was still in microwave. She spoke to the lady who made my sandwich if my two were done to which the reply was, “2 croissants?” My order was then restarted with both being remade from scratch. All in all it took me over 15 mins to get poured coffee and two microwaveable sandwiches.

I came here at 1:15 and ordered a panini. I was told they were no longer making paninis. Why not? It is on the menu and I was here well within the operating hours. Is it their general policy to not make items that are on the menu?I ended up getting a wrap, which was decent. But I really wanted something warm because this building is extremely cold.

I liked it, good premade stuff, good bagels. Pricey, but it's in a hospital so ya can't complain. I wish there was more seating, but hey it works, business runs.

$5.25 bacon egg croissants iss big sodt and delicious. Cook perfectly. Can't best this price better than off base.

Beautiful salads and sandwiches. Extremely fresh. Prices are reasonable. A large chef salad is $6.25, dressing included, a Ham & Swiss on Croissant is $5.70. Coffee is fresh and hot and delicious with a lot of choices and much less expensive than the coffee shop that starts with an "S". I haven't tried them, but the great variety of breakfast baked goods looks fantastic too. Immaculately clean.
I like this place so there are actually two areas you can go to. One in Eagle Zone (Main location) and the other in America Zone (Secondary smaller location) of Walter Reed. I love the different variety of coffee they have to offer, teas, lattes, basically everything a Starbucks offers but cheaper. And there is a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts location in Walter Reed. My favorite item to snack on is the humongous Apple Fritter... Yes!!! I usually get a large coffee w/ 2 shots of espresso and an Apple Fritter for $5.00 you can't beat that. Well not in the hospital anyways. As far as convenience, it is perfect you don't have to walk far to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a tasty Apple Fritter... Lol!!!
It has decent coffee, but Carmel lattes are listed at a specific price and they charge you $0.40 more. Fix your sign
It over priced coffee and food
Convenient yes. But $1.70 for a coffee refill is B.S.
