The asian manager here was very very very rude i came her with my boyfriend and keep in mind ive been coming here with him since I moved to the bethesda area. Me and him always get the same breakfast sandwich everytime. But this particular day I went and asked for the same sandwich with turkey sausage on it and i explained it just like j always do. First it was the spanish lady who works for the manager rolling her eyes at me and having a attitude bc i don't think she knew that much english so she found herself getting frustrated at me because i was explaining. anyways thats when the manager came over bc she saw that the girl was being rude to me. Instead of the girl taking my order now it was the manager keep in mind i was very happy when i first saw the manager coming over bc i thought she was a very nice lady, I was wrong.. When she came over she said “Okay i know what you want no problem” then walked away and i told her thank you and that i appreciated it. 15 minutes later i came back inside the store to get my sandwich and when i got it i opened it to make sure it was correct. I do this with all of my food because i dont eat pork, only turkey. Anyways i opened it and it was cold cut turkey slices on it instead of the thick turkey SAUSAGE. On top of that it didnt have any of the condiments i asked for. No jelly or cheese just a toasted plain turkey cold cut sandwich.. I saw it and went back in to let her know. I was very polite i just went in and said “Sorry but i opened it and its not what i asked for” and explained what it was instead I then asked her if she could please make me another sandwich and i smiled… waiting for a response.. Out of no where She started yelling saying “No! thats what you asked for thats what you asked for!!” I was so confused because i was going there everyday with my boyfriend getting the same thing and initially when i asked she just cut me off and told me that she knew what i wanted and walked away bc the spanish woman like i said was being rude to me. Anyways i then told her “Well i didnt ask for cold cuts i asked for turkey Sausage and I would like another sandwich to be made bc i am paying money for this” Thats when she threw a temper tantrum and snatched the sandwich out of my hand and threw it on the floor screaming saying “No thats what you asked for and Im gonna call the police!!!” I could not believe what was happening. Me and my boyfriend were just standing there being respectful to her and her business. And she threatens to call the police on us when we did nothing wrong. I was so upset i didnt get it on video. It was so embarrassing and we felt so out of place because the entire restaurant was filled with people and she made us look like we were in the wrong. I really do feel like it was a race thing. Because everyone else in there were asian and white people. Lol … As much as i hate to say that. But i say iy because after We just decided to tell her then we want our money back because of her nasty attitude and after hearing her say she was gonna call the police on us. After going back and forth with her and asking for out money back. This white guy walks up to me and my boyfriend and he goes “This is a nice lady she doesn't bother anyone.. I can pay for your sandwich..” …. Like are you serious not once did we ever say we needed money to buy a sandwich. I looked at him and said “No we dont need your money. We have not bothered her she just has poor customer service and all we want now is our money back and she has already threatened us bc of that.” Smh It was crazy how everything went.We didnt do anything wrong. We just simply asked for a new sandwich bc the sandwich wasn't correct. How could a by stander see everything that just happened on both sides and not see that the manager was wrong in every way? Im gonna continue on another thread bc it still isnt over there.

I have been here for breakfast and lunch and it’s definitely my new spot for a breakfast sandwich. This place has excellent NYC Bodega vibes and it’s gonna be my neighborhood deli spot for as long as I live within walking distance.

You know when you find a restaurant where there’s a steady stream of diverse customers, half of which finish their transaction with “see you tomorrow!” - that place is doing something right. So welcoming and the food is EXCELLENT, classic deli food done really well with an Asian spin. If I lived near here I’d definitely be one of those regular, “see you tomorrow” customers!!

Do NOT eat here the lady here is very rude and mean and annoying she wanted me to wait outisde as a delivery driver shame on u who do u think u are? Like she didn’t wanna make the order or something if you are a driver do not pick up ur food from here this rude behavior is unacceptable treating us customers like we’re some kid girl bye and I will make sure my fellow dashers don’t pick up here either lose your attitude !and don’t talk to someone like your above them I’m talking about the mean Chinese lady !

Yesterday morning I went to Woodmont Deli and brought a croissant egg and cheese it was so delicious and filled with love that I immediately brought another one it was the best I had to write a review thank you Woodmont Deli I will be back soon
My husband and I had the Bugolgi platter and loved it. The coffee is good too. Lovely Korean lady owner.

I ordered thru door dash and the food came out perfectly almost as if I made it myself. I got the tuna melt and a breakfast sandwich the melt was nice and stuffed exactly how I would’ve done it I’m goin to try the breakfast sandwich now.
