Grove Market is a hidden gem and absolutely a must experience. From the outside it does not look like your typical 5-star restaurant, but do not let that deter you from booking a reservation. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is ridiculously good. Fresh/Made to Order so plan on being there for about two hours. There are no menus/your server will tell you exactly what the chef will be preparing for that day. The selection is good from appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, desserts. None of it will dissapoint. We have been back two times now with friends and we all ordered something different to sample and all was delicous from the crab bisque, to the beet salad, filet mignon, halibut, scallops, pork shank, bumbleberry pie, chocolate silk pie...and the list goes on. Well worth the $$ as it is pricey, but you will not forget your meal!

This place offers such a unique experience -- everything from the service style to the meals will keep you riveted. I'd rather say less so I don't spoil the surprise, so I'll just offer three pieces of advice:

1) You MUST call ahead and leave a message to get in -- it is by reservation only!
2) Don't judge it by its looks!
3) Bring cash...and lots of it (they don't take any other form of payment, and you'll want to order some of everything)!

This isn’t just a restaurant - it’s an experience!
This is such a fun place and the food is amazing - it’s expensive but worth it. If you haven’t been - make your reservations at least 2 weeks in advance. You will not leave disappointed

Had an 8 pm reservation the menu was not even told to our party until 845pm finally had our dinner at 10 pm and all the sides obviously were plated first wait for main entree so the rice and potatoes were cold Have been here many times the service had never been like this. New mgmt requires work. Disappointing.

Hands down the best dining experience in or around OC! No menus, no credit cards, no worries…. New ownership hasn’t missed a beat. Food and service of a high end big city restaurant with all the small town charm of OC.

I can’t say enough about how delicious our meal was! From the drinks to the appetizers to the main courses to the desserts, A+! Brett and Zeppy were amazing servers and were able to describe each item in detail. We LOVED everything we ate! Peach crush, sangria, crab dip, filet mignon bao buns, shrimp Caesar salad, filet mignon, lamb lollipops, halibut, coconut cake, berry pie, and key lime pie - all amazing! We dived into our meals before we could photograph them. That’s the only reason they weren’t added. 🤣

Not your traditional restaurant, since it was once a bait-shop. Still a great place to eat with friends, family or both.

Rustic, seasoned coastal at its finest. Engaging staff, a smiling chef that delivers your food, and overall cool, off-the-beaten path vibes. Kudos to Missy (from greeting all the way thru service), to Zepp at the bar, and Soloman, our server extraordinaire.
