This was our second time dining at the Lighthouse. It's one of our favorite restaurants to visit when in the area. The food is top of the line gourmet and the views are spectacular as it sits on a golf course overlooking the bay. I had a perfectly cooked ribeye while my lady had the red snapper. Stephen is as good as it gets when it comes to taking quality care of the dinner guests. Can't wait to be back in the area again so we can visit this great restaurant.
The venue itself is breathtaking. It's situated on a golf course with beautiful views of the bay and Ocean City in the background. My wife and I went for an early lunch. The dining room was empty but the bar and golf course were busy. Stephanie, our server, had to go back and forth between tending bar and serving. Still there was not an overly long wait. Pacing of the meal was excellent. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich while I had the 19th Hole which basically was a prime rib cheesesteak. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Such a terrific dining experience! Waitress was excellent and good was delicious. Accommodated a large party without much notice. Thanks for ask enjoyable experience.
Everything about our dinning experience was great from the wait staff, food and ambiance. We will definitely be returning.
The Food was indeed delicious except the rolls! I've been in the F&B industry for decades and have never heard of a 'fine' dining restaurant House Specialty being a starch. Potatoes au gratin in this case.
In my reviews, I very rarely give 5 stars for Anything. But despite the stale rolls, both batches, I gave their food 5 stars. Averaged from all 7 guests and their respective dinners.
Respectfully here's some constructive criticisms; 1. Fix that grand fireplace for crying out loud. A beautiful property, facility and view of OCMD condo row skyline should have a roaring fire. Especially on Christmas Eve and the winter holidays. 2. Turn up the table lighting a few degrees, Please! 3. The menus are way too, heavy, large and combersumb. I was unable to fully read and examine its content because of the lighting and the awkward size didn't help. Address those and the reviews of the Atmosphere will indeed increase.
The Service was below average. But I gave it 3 stars for the server because he appeared to be in the weeds and we perceived him as putting in a genuine effort. That said, he Never asked my 23 year old daughter if she wanted a beverage, even a soda. He kept forgetting to bring the beverages we had ordered, 20 minutes, round after round. In the Food and Beverage and Hospitality Industries, you Work on weekends and Holidays, year-round! That's the nature of the Service Industry. So lack of appropriate staffing can be the sole fault of management and it's culture. But staffing Off-Season IS DIFFICULT in a coastal summer resort!! There's Always some kind of challenge going on, some unforeseen, others out of the chef's and management's control. We Will be coming back!!

Terrible customer service. Paid for 100 person luncheon following my mother's funeral. Had 55 people come. Rather than pack the food, the staff helped themselves - I watches them carry trays out of the building. When I brought this to the attention of management, they offered a $200 gift card. I paid $40/pp. That math seems a bit off to me.
The food, staff, and view was amazing.

My steak and sides were excellent. Service was very attentive and delightful. We meant some friends there who are usually hard to impress. However they were very happy.

Location and views are amazing. Crab cakes were delicious, but veggies were lukewarm. Summer strawberry salad was delicious.

We went last night and the views are incredible, especially at sunset. The food wasn’t great — the mashed potatoes were so weird, even inedible. The server forgot things we ordered and seemed like he didn’t want to be working. I would not go back for food, only drinks and the view.
