Setting establishment is ok, although the cafe offers very limited parking and additional parking is scarce around the surrounding area that can be foreseen as a dangerous area for parking your vehicle.
Drinks are somewhat expensive, and venues owner is the only people serving drinks, which makes for extended waiting periods to order drinks.
Inside the venue is a bit compact, which could be shoulder to shoulder on a crowded night.

Parking: Parking on the street gives off the vibe that your vehicle can be broken into.
Not well lighted a lot of streets.

Suya and Jollof rice is excellent and my other go is the wings! Wings are cooked when you order them never precooked. Kareem is a good person and I've known him for 20 years. I love Mango Caffe and I grew not far from the venue. That's how I discovered it.

New to the DC area and decided to check this place out and I had the most horrible experience. The bartender ignored me almost for a hour it took a African man to order my drink and I got my drink within minutes. I realized then that my night was going to be horrible. Didn't even enjoy my drink because it tasted just like a soda ? so I just calmly left.

Disgusting actitud towards not Africans . Rude Africans mans , felt so uncomfortable Im never went back and that happened few times over 2 years ago . Don’t waste your money here ain’t worth it.

Not open. Says they open at 6pm on Saturday, but doors are locked. Came here once and wanted to try it again for good measure. Will adjust after.

It's a very nice spot to hear afro beats with a nice atmosphere. It has a comfortable vibe.
