Decided to stop and give it a try today and the food was great! The food was fresh, hot, and seasoned very well. Service provided by Gabby was outstanding and very customer service oriented. Will definitely be going back!

I’ve been coming here since the grand opening. Tried the fried oysters today and was really disappointed- they were overly salty and mostly just thick, crusty, no oyster, just fried dough. Definitely not my favorite.
That said, the place itself is nice. It’s a little overpriced, but with inflation these days, I guess that’s to be expected.

I drove almost 2 hours to this location to try the food the restaurant is a carryout and go probably about two tables of seating very small the bathroom did not work the light skinned women at the register was very rude was rushing customers of their order she didn't give any one time to think about what they wanted she act like she had an attitude when customers asked her was certain items good she huffed and puffed like do you want it or not I will not be returning they didn't have no drinks to go with the meals only good thing I can say about this place the cook came out from the back to ask customers how they want their fish cooked she was very nice and professional not rude at all overall customer service was trash food 6/10.

We want our people to support us, but we do not know how to treat them. My mother and I was having a nice mother daughter day until we chose to eat in the Bowie location. My mother's chicken was not completely cooked. The waiter was informed, and his father ( the owner), instead of fixing the problem he wants to go back and forth with an elderly woman. While acting like he wanted to do more. His son held him back. We received the money for my mom's order. That is really bad because my mom was telling everyone about this place prior to this incident.
It is hard to support a black business when the main focuse is the dollar bill more than the customer experience. Without customers there is no business. God can snatch that business right away.

Food was good and hot. I ate in the restaurant in Bowie location.
I had a rare taste for a pork chop. I googled for pork chops near me. I had never heard of the restaurant. I just ordered a pork chop sandwich. They gave me 2 pork chops nice size, seasoned well with buttery toast. They were delicious, I could only eat one because of the size but will definitely eat the other tomorrow. I will definitely be going back and trying other things.

Well, first getting a meal. I got the Pork Chop dinner. I must say it was DELICIOUS. The Mac&Cheese and Greens was very good. I only have one UMM and that is, I think a dinner roll should come with the meal. I will go back again.

I recently ordered food at B.B.U. The food is cooked fresh and it is very tasty; not loaded with salt or cooked too hard. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and very respectful to customers. By the way, my credit card fell out of my wallet unknowingly and I received a phone call shortly thereafter from the cashier to pick it up. We definitely appreciate BBU being in our Bowie neighborhood.
