Food was nothing to be excited about I had the fried croacker dinner and it was not good at all fish wasn’t crispy only seasoned on one side smh thought it wasn’t seasoned at at until I got to the other side which tasted like crab seasoning. The sides I had fries which were okay but that season they put on it is for acquired tastes only smh fries shouldn’t taste like it has some kind of sugar on them the Coleslaw was okay but the potato salad was bland just taste like mayo. Also got a cake for desert red velvet I believe well that shit was dry as hell far from fresh. This place is next to my job so I decided to try it haven’t been back since!
And fyi I came from the dental office since when did an honest opinion become hate smh the shit was trash just like I said and over priced for the quality you serving and the fact this is your response says all it needs to say about your business! You probably the one that took my order didn’t speak at all I had to speak to you!! Next time just say thank you and keep it moving!!

I ordered collard greens and a turkey wing sandwich.it was delicious. The seasoning was great. The collard greens yum. Turkey wing. Seasoning perfect. Seasoned but not spicy. Yum I like it that way. The service was very good. The staff was very nice. There was an unhappy customer. Wanted a refund but had eaten some of the food. How can you ask for a full refund? Very loud. When customers left, they offered us a slice of cake/pie to apologize for the incident. Wow! Speaks volumes for the quality of the restaurant.
Parking: Just pull into the next available space.

So if you guys are looking to order from here I suggest going in person because I tried to place an order for a chicken sandwich online and when I got it it was just tenders and two pieces of bread, then when I called and told them this they said that's how it comes even though the menu online says it comes with lettuce, sauce, tomato and onions. I don't appreciate being gaslit into thinking I pushed the wrong button because I just looked at it just to make sure I wasn't tripping before I typed this up. Not only that when I walked in they weren't doing anything and still made me wait before giving me my order.
It was very hot. Items on the menu were not available through the cash register. I didn't feel welcomed .

Please know that I never review a business even if bad service/food. I tried the lunch wings for myself and co worker. The wings had a weird taste, not sauced well at all(half the wings don’t have sauce on them). The gentleman that answered was very professional and kind. I did call to return for refund but was offered something else. I didn’t want anything else but my money. I barely ate half a wing and no fries. I’m not going to bash a new business and wish them the best of luck but BUYER BEWARE!

The food here is 5 stars.....the smoothered pork chops were so delicious...fried just right...mash potatoes were good ..Mac and cheese was really good ..corn bread had good flavor and moist...chicken wings were really good ...service was really friendly.... everything was excellent....I can't return for a while because I am trying to keep my weight together but the next time I am going to treat myself, I know where I am going.....last thing I want to say is yes they are pricy but it's worth every penny

Just so happened to find this place on Google. Looking for soul food other than Ruby's. Food was good! My family and I order collard greens, potato salad, sweet potatos, smothered pork chops, corn bread, and honey lemon pepper wings.
The negative: They forgot to add my side of honey butter, side of gravy, and the rice I asked for with my smothered pork which they charged me for.
Outside of that no major complaints. They are far better than Ruby's and the prices are reasonable.
Smothered pork chops, cabbage and rice were good.. Large portion size, enough for 2 which is always a great thing... Minimize the Salt just a bit, and we have a great Sunday Dinner Sould food spot in the area...
Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly, just a bit salty so be careful with that..
