Went for a late lunch and were able to take advantage of the happy hour food and drink specials. Besides the food being really, really good, the happy hour prices were great (mini pizza for $7, Margarita for $6). And our server (Precious) was OUTSTANDING, easily handling a party of 10 with 3 small children. Kudos to her and the rest of the very friendly and accommodating staff.

My family of 4 decided to eat dinner here. What a mistake! Despite the restaurant being practically empty it to about a half hour to receive our meal, the lemonade we ordered had to be sent back because it had a weird rancid taste and to top it off we were charged $113 dollars for someone else’s meal! When we informed the waiter he apologized and tried to fix it while the manager, Tim, looked at us from the corner of the room in between looking at his phone. He never once came over to apologize or attempt to address any concerns or make it right. Instead of perhaps paying us in cash for the difference of the over payment, provide a discount or anything at all were told it would come off then asked us to also pay our original bill! Both of which are showing up as being taken out of my account! Now I have to call the bank to dispute the charge. It is unfortunate that mismanagement can run a good business into the ground. This use to be a pretty good restaurant. I would suggest that anyone looking for good service and excellent food go elsewhere.

Our group of five stopped in for lunch at opening time. The place was empty so we got good service in short order. I had the chicken fingers and they were hot and crispy. Do check them out.

The place was not very crowded but it took forever for us to get our food and drinks; I think there was only one cook in the kitchen. It also seems like our server was inexperienced, not trained properly, or should get another job. California Club flatbread, Poke bowl, and Buffalo wings were all excellent. No surprise that they have a huge selection of beers but they also had an above average wine list (no one I know offers Freakshow Cab by the glass).

My husband and I went at 4 pm on a Thursday - not a terribly busy time. He ordered pork chops, I ordered the new deep dish 6" pizza. Pointed to it on the menu when I ordered it. Waited about 20 minutes for food and when it showed up - surprise! - the pizza was the 11" shareable. I pointed out the problem and was told first that I should have used the magic word "mini" but that they would remake it (so that his food would be cold and we would have waited almost an hour for food). I explained why that wasn't a good option and said that taking cold leftover pizza home wasn't an option - not only is it not appetizing, I wouldn't be home for a few days and it's not on his diet. Ate part of two slices. I have to admit, based on my experiences with other BJ's, that I expected to be charged for the 6", not the 11". Seems that's not the way they work here. You get the wrong order, you pay for it. It's probably good for their profit margin, but not for building customer loyalty. I stopped at the front on the way out to say how upset I was. The answer was, gee, we're really sorry (but we're keeping your $21). Caveat emptor. Please do learn from my mistake in going here. I certainly have.

This was the worst! I was advised my order will be ready at 7:00pm for pickup. At 7 pm a staff person came out to my car and advised it will be 5 to 10 more minutes which ended up being 20. They gave no salad dressing for the salad. We asked for extra sauce in the baked Ziti but got a lot of grease with no sauce. We had to add our own marinara sauce after we got home. We order a shrimp scampi with penne pasta, the pasta was extremely overcooked to the point of being mushy. The dinner roll was dumped in the pasta and was a mushy mess by the time we got home. The butter sauce was tasteless. The blacken salmon was a small slice, the rice was not even a serving and the broccoli had no flavor. I spent almost $80 for inedible food. During this pandemic service has suffered, meals are not what you paid for and everything is higher in price. I will never order from this restaurant again and I certainly will not advise anyone to either.

Went there for dinner. Shelby was a fantastic order taker but didn't inquire as to how things were. I had to signal him a couple of times. The woman who brought out our food seemed to have a slight attitude when I could understand what she was saying when she brought out our salads which came before the appetizer. Raspberry Rose Rita is a great drink. Hubby liked the Nit Wit beer. Boneless wings with root beer sauce was delicious! BBQ rack of ribs were good but did not fall off the bone like hubby has had in other restaurants. I had the Tri tip steak & shrimp scampi combo, shrimps were good but the steak was a little touch and quite small.

I am not sure why I returned as service has been sketchy for a while. It was simply a midpoint meet-up for my buddy and me for a beer and late-night wings. I sat down at a booth in the bar and waited...and waited...and waited. My buddy joined me after 20 minutes or so...that's when the first acknowledgement was made. This amplified my concern that perhaps there was a racial component to being ignored, as I am a middle-aged white male and was clearly in the minority in the clientele. Perhaps I was wrong as my dear friend is African-American and although the waiter finally acknowledged there was someone sitting there it was not until my friend approached the manager that the waiter eventually approached the table. That was at just over 45 minutes after I arrived. 10 minutes later our drink orders had not arrived and so we left for far better service at Applebee's. It is not as though the staff was overworked. The manager was in the corner by the door and was joking with employees. The waiter had plenty of time to socialize with guests and fellow staff. The waitress assigned to the dining area had only 2 tables and could have caught up the slack if our waiter was overwhelmed. So... terrible experience. I have done hundreds of reviews and I can count the number of 1 stars on 1 hand. Never going back.

We were traveling and were happy to find BJs as an option near our hotel. We have been to several in California and were expecting a good meal. The first problem was that they were under staffed. However, we are aware of the labor shortage, especially in restaurants, so have not intention of including this in the rating. It is not their fault and they tried their best. The main complaint was the quality of the food. Both our meals were "gloopy". Lots of additives were used and it did not enhance the taste. The tortilla soup (usually broth based) was "creamy" and the soba noodles were stuck together and mushy. It honestly tasted like bad fast food. The other big problem was that half the staff were wearing their masks either under the nose or under the chin. There is an indoor mask mandate in Bowie and it was really frustrating to see people (staff) not complying.

We had Open Table reservations for 4 p.m. We arrived on time. We were not seated till 4:30 p.m. There was plenty of seating. I think they lacked staffing. AC was cranked way too cold for seated guests. Service and food were good once we were seated. Bar was slow though. Took 10 minutes to get a beer. The pizza was wonderful with a tasty crispy crust.

The lines in this BJs are always to the back of the store. Management should look into better ways of getting the customers checked out. It's absolutely awful!!!!!

I try to be understanding when I get delivery/curbside pickup and the quality is not what I would choose for myself, but today, three items I received were not in consumable condition (gray meat, pierced packaging and rotten fruit).

I try to be understanding when I get delivery/curbside pickup and the quality is not what I would choose for myself, but today, three items I received were not in consumable condition (gray meat, pierced packaging and rotten fruit). I will try and be generous enough to assume that they were missed by whomever pulled them for my order, but after calling the store and the corporate line and being told that the only way to resolve this issue is to come into the store and return the items in person, I am extremely unhappy with that option. The customer service representative demanded that I explain to him why I couldn’t come into the store, and made it personal by saying that he still has to work as an immunocompromised person. It shouldn’t be on either of us to divulge that information. The fact is that I never would have ordered curbside if I knew I would need to drive home and back to the store to return spoiled items.
