They gave me an order of soup in a carry out container piled it into a bag on top of another order it slid and fell and they refused to replace it as a courtesy z( I spent over $ 130)The chef refused $30 for some vegetableFood is different but over priced and for them to stack two orders on top of each other in inappropriately small bags this was there fault everybody else put soup in a nice bowl with the lid they put it in a carry-on container.I won’t be back.Overpriced and average tasteNo hospitality

Food and drinks are overpriced for the experience and location. I had the salmon pasta with a side of cabbage that were very small portions for the prices they charge. For example, I had a cocktail that came in a small glass with a large block of ice for $18 which was ridiculous since this restaurant isn't even upscale & is in a strip mall in a residential out of the way area. They also charge an automatic gratuity of 20%. I would not recommend or return to this restaurant.

The food is always tasty when I visit. I always try something different. Merlot in the city is my go to cocktail and I prefer the chocolate cake over the bread pudding.

This is not a place that I would ordinarily eat. Reminds me of a place for young adults or someone who does not have a taste for well prepared meals. I will never ome back.

Went there last night had reservations for 7 pm even got a reminder earliar in the day. We arrived at 7:05 pm there was a hostess at the front to greet us but she left and NEVER came back. No one manned the front desk for like 15 to 20 mins so we started asking staff can they get someone to seat us.Finally someone came and sat us down at 745. We sat there for nearly 20 mins and no one came to take our order or even offer water. At this point it's 805 and we've been there for 1hr and no one has taken our order so we decided to get up and leave. We left to go to Copper Canyon and were seated within 10 mins of arriving AND it was crowded.Within 10 mins soneone came and took our order. I must add Black Cow wasn't crowded at the time. Could they have been short staff.....maybe but if you have reservations you'd think the staff should be ready in advanced. I would never go back as we were celebrating and entertaining guess who've never been. I love to patronize black owned establishments.....but this was the stereotypical experience that we complain about.I'll never go back nor will I recommend it for others. They looked disorganized and had a nonchalant aurora. This was rediculous, disappointing, unprofessional, disorganized, just a horrible experience. They don't even get a one star for any category because my experience was a disaster.......GO TO COPPER CANYON INSTEAD

Review on BLVCK COW.I had previously visited on September 23rd, 2023, and really enjoyed the meal, service and atmosphere of the BLVCK COW. The only issue then was the music was a little loud for the space. All-in-all, the visit was pleasing. Which is why I made reservations form my Wife’s birthday here and hyped it up to our visiting out-of-town guests. My visit on March 9th, for my Wife’s Birthday with our out-of-town guests, was the worst dining experience I have ever had. When we first entered, you could hear extremely loud voices overpowering the music that was being streamed. We were seated, not far from the extremely loud 5 patrons, who didn’t seem to care how disruptive they might be. (I’ll get back to them shortly.) The only other guest in the restaurant were another 4 people who came in halfway into our visit and were seated next to us and two guys at the bar. So, it didn’t seem too busy. Our waitress was nice, while also doing double duty as the Bartender, took our drink order and the subsequent meal order (salads, soups, entrees.) The drinks came and were great. The salads came in a respectable time and the mood was good. THEN, after an excessive amount of time waiting for the entrees, we received them. My wife ordered the 14 oz. NY Strip, medium well. When received and cut into, it looked medium well, but was dry as if it was an olde piece of meat. No juices, as if it was previously cooked and reheated. I ordered, the Peppered Shrimp special, that was received at near room temperature and was dried out also (overcooked). One of my out-of-town Guests ordered the special that had a Lobster Tail. It too was barely warm, and the rice was room temperature. The Manager did offer to replace my Wife’s steak, but since her birthday dinner was already ruined, she did not desire another. If any of you are like us, sending things back to be redone or replaced comes with perception (real or not) with what happens when you complain. To add insult, her birthday was only acknowledged by the hostess that seated us.Three quarters of our visit, the noisy patrons (who never let up on their loudness) FINALLY decided to depart. On the way out they were being hugged by the Maître d’, the Hostess, and the Chef (who came out specifically to speak to them.) This seems to kind of explain why they were allowed to be so rude and overtake the sound of the other guests. However, the Chef made no effort to come over to see how we were since we sent the meal back.As a consumer, I try to patronize local businesses (especially Black Owned) and I am usually not a complainer. This time is different. Other than our Hostess, the visit sucked. I really hope BLVCK COW gets it together, because if they continue to serve and provide the experience we had this past weekend, and do not take the customer seriously they will go out of business.

Absolutely delicious. The new menu is delicious. From the welcoming man at the door to the friendly, kind hostess, and to our waitress Kiki, everything was 1000% wonderful. Sunday brunch was absolutely delightful. The bottomless mimosas were delicious and I truly can’t recommend this place higher and it is just such a wonderful experience and I want all of you seeing this to please go!!!!!!

I spoke with Diamond tonight. She was very polite and very knowledgeable about her facility. She answered all my questions about the place. Thank you for all of the information you have given me. I hope me and my husband get a chance to meet you Sunday ☺

Been here 3 times.... First time....food was alright Second time....I ordered lobster Mac and cheese in addition to other things for pick up. They gave me regular Mac and cheese and the food was generally bland Third time.....I came in, sat down at one of the high tables. Waiters kept walking past me. Didn't offer menu or water. It was obvious I was just sitted. Nonetheless, I left after 30 minutes. People have already commented on the inconspicuous tipping. Which is a little offensive when service and food is mediocre. I was so hopeful. Unfortunately, I won't be going back.

My friend was looking forward to dining there for the first time for his birthday. Made a reservation on February 20 at 7pm for a birthday. Arrived at the restaurant a little early only to find a sign on the door that they are closed until the end of the month. I was confused as to why I was able to make a reservation in the first place. There is nothing on Google or the website indicating that they are closed. To add insult to injury, I received an email from resy this morning thanking me for dining last night and asking for feedback.

Place was closed and it was not stated on their website. Went to their social media pages and they've not been kept up to date since Ictober 2023. Horrible customer service not toe post you're closed. I traveled 45 minutes just to be greeted by locked doors and a sign on the door. There has to be better for this business.

ONE STAR! I had a disappointing experience at BLVCK COW on Valentine's Day. The restaurant decided to close without notifying any of us who had made plans and reservations. It's incredibly disappointing that they didn't reach out through a call, email, or text before or even after the fact. It's a shame that they didn't consider the impact on their customers who had made special arrangements for the occasion. Communication is key in customer service, and the lack of it in this situation tarnished the overall experience.
