I’m so glad I took a chance on Cake Batter! I needed a cake for a birthday brunch, kinda last minute. I remembered seeing a cute bakery located at Bowie Town Center. I checked out the website and filled out the form requesting a custom cake. I received a phone call back from a knowledgeable and friendly bakery representative. I was able to design the cake I wanted, felt like endless possibilities on cake options. I ended up ordering a lemon cake with raspberry filling. It was 4 layers tall, looked beautiful, and must importantly tasted delicious! Everyone attending the brunch was impressed and asked where the cake came from. I will be purchasing ALL of my future cakes from there. Can’t beat the price, taste, and looks!!

I love this place! It's super clean, and the staff are always very friendly. It never hurts that the deserts are simply amazing! A wonderful hidden gem of a bakery! I would recommend to anyone to get your sugar fix here!

I gave it a 4 star bc I haven't had my beautiful confection as yet. Love this farely new addition to the Bowie Town Center. Funny thing is I've passed by here ant not really noticed it bc it's in a location of another bakery that has since moved on. So I had stopped looking. But I happen to park rufht in front and was pleasantly pleased to see such sweet amazement staring back at me.Do stop on by they have so much to offer in speciality bakes for your occasion or your a quickbite.As it says on its walls "Life is too short to skip cake"

Stopped by for my sister's birthday for an after lunch treat! EXCEPTIONAL! The homemade strawberry shortcake ice cream was out of this world!!! The employees were GREAT at explaining how to order and telling us about the different options. We will definitely return!

Thank you to the gentlemen who was able to accommodate my request since I had a peanut allergy and offered they recreate the 2 flavor cupcakes I wanted in the back to make me feel safe. I tried the strawberry and pineapple upside down cupcakes, both flavors have a deep rich flavor and you can tell they were made with love. A word of advice, maybe not refrigerate them? I did to mine and the frosting became very hard.

The staff is super friendly. The funnel cake is delicious, however, my daughter said the banana pudding could use more bananas than pudding!

Staff very friendly. Delicious desserts. Funnel cake made to order. There is one table with 2 chairs indoors and another outdoors, plan on eating your dessert elsewhere. Plenty of uncovered parking, but you may have a slight walk because of how the parking lots are designed. Good location in Bowie Town Center. Nothing in the display cases is labeled, so had to keep asking which dessert was what. Paid approx $10.00 per person. The indoors decor is inviting and they also provide desserts for events. There is a table inside dedicated to event planning.
These are my new top pick for favorite cupcakes. Got 4 cup cakes at 6 dollars a piece. Got a milkshake also. They are made fresh when ordered. Staff is super helpful and friendly when trying to figure out what you want. The milkshake was delicious. They make it with a cupcake. Oreo cupcake tasted even better than it looked. Sprinkle cupcake was very tasty. Peanut butter cup cake was my favorite. The strawberry cupcake was great, not too strong, but a very smooth flavor profile. I will be back to try something else next time I'm up this way. 9 out of 10 stars, I will be back again.

Came in and ordered a funnel cake unbeknownst to me, the funnel cake was frozen from a box ( I saw the young lady pull it from the box). Needless to say, it tasted doughy and wasn't good. Very disappointingThis is a reply to the stores response. I can also assure you that I saw with my own eyes the young lady take a blue and white box from a freezer and when she removed the funnel cake from the box she returned that box back to the freezer!!! Also, I know the difference between a freshly made funnel cake and one that came frozen and dropped in the fryer. The taste between the two are completely different!

OH MY GOSHHHH!! where has this place been my whole life!? I was surprised to see it was in Bowie Town Center, and a build-your-own dessert bakery at that, but this place has it ALL!the cupcakes were moist and fluffy, the weekly flavors are so unique and delicious. not to mention the customer service was extremely welcoming and helpful. they explained all of their flavors and customizable options right away which saved so much time. i was DEFINITELY be back and would recommend this place to everyone!
