Where should I begin? The hostess was great, but the server was extremely unprofessional. As it was our first time at this location, I asked the server for his opinion on the menu, but he seemed not very knowledgeable. Consequently, we ordered the seafood boil with rice, but the food was awful. The flavors of the seasoning did not complement each other, and we didn't enjoy the meal at all. As a result, we paid and left the majority of the food uneaten. Because of this experience, my family and I have decided not to return to this restaurant.

I visited a business located near Crafty Crab on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 5pm. Someone who I believe was an employee was standing outside in front of the building smoking Marijuana. The smell was so strong that you could smell it inside of the business that I visited. The employees at the business said that the Crafty Crab employees smoke Marijuana outside often. This is not professional behavior. The shopping center where this business is located is very nice and inviting. Customers of these businesses should not have to endure smelling Marijuana when visiting the shopping center. Let's do better Crafty Crab.

BUYER BEWARE when ordering from the scanned menu!! ? ? I love the food and my server was great, BUT, I found out the hard way that what was advertised on the menu that I scanned was not to be honored by the manager the night I ate at the Bowie location a week ago. My sister-in-law specifically pointed out the price difference online vs in restaurant for the same item and the server confirmed that the price online would be honored. At the end of our meal the server took my receipt and card to process the payment we were talking/distracted when she returned my card and receipt so I didn't immediately notice the error. I noticed the discrepancy just as we were leaving and on dispute, the Manager was called over. He IMMEDIATELY told me that the scanned menu which was in the physical menu in the restaurant...was not theirs. I asked him to use his own phone to scan the menu which he didn't do, but went on to tell me that he wasn't responsible for the online menu because it was placed there by a "Third party" that does their advertising. Then had the NERVE to say that maybe someone was trying to SCAM me! WHAT!!! He refused to honor the online price so I reported this as a dispute with my bank. Action being investigated. Lesson here is " if you scan the online menu" make sure you check your receipt at the end of your meal and insist on the online price being honored. I really love the food and so far my experience has been great with the servers...this has always been my favorite location of Crafty Crab...BUT...looks like I need to find another restaurant to enjoy seafood! ? I'm considering reporting this "Bait and Switch" tactic to the BBB.

We love the seafood boil and lemon pepper wings. The boil can be customized according to what you like, which is great because some of the combinations would not work for my family. The price for the boil is good considering all the food you get. The wings are tangy and salty - a delicious combination.

Not what I expected from my feet in restaurant. more like a carryout. I played it safe after all you couldn’t possibly mess up chicken and fries. Boy was I wrong they give you plastic flatware, coleslaw was in a to go container w/lid. I ordered chicken and fries, gumbo, and crab legs. The chicken and fries were overcooked. The gumbo was just vegetable soup …no ketchup bottles you get to go ketchup container like you would at a fast food restaurant. The only positive thing I can say about my experience was the waitress was pleasant and professional. Will not return to this place even if the meal was free.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I was there on Jan 13th. The service was prompt, thorough and friendly. The Crab Dip, Crab soup (a bisque) and the Crab Cakes were outstanding. A good selection of draft beer. I will be back.

We decided to do Happy Hour here on Friday Jan. 5, 2024...they now have Karaoke on Fridays...the music was too loud to have a conversation, the Karaoke DJ was using profanity along with the Karaoke Songs having profanity on the Monitor....The Manager was not in control of the situation as we told him our concerns and he addressed them with the DJ but the DJ continued to use profanity with children present in the restaurant...the Manager did remove the automatic tip from our bills..very horrible dining experience as we have been here before and enjoyed the food and the experience.
