Golden Pavilion Restaurant

Neighborhood Chinese restaurant with bar. Food was tasty. Try the dumplings appetizer. Serving sizes about average. Our experience was tainted by very loud group in the bar (which is open to dining room).

Had dinner with my siblings and spouses. It has changed greatly since I worked there many many many years ago.

Golden Pavillion is very good mixture of food, including, vegetarian and seafood dishes. Always pleased with the service. The Golden Pavilion has dine in options, lunch specials, carry-out and a delivery via Uber Eats. We have been going there for years, consistently good Sushi and Cantonese food.

Really great food, both in the restaurant and carry out. Sushi is super, I try a different type everytime, never disappointed.

They treated us like we were special, like the only customers in the restaurant.

Lovely place. It was quiet and relaxing, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was excellent. Great prices too! 10/10 no complaints.

I grew up eating in there, so I go way back to the 60s. It's moved and completely different inside. Food was ok. The young lady who served me was delightful. The huge prominence of the sports bar was a big loud negative for me. Things change and the last time I was there was in the early mid 80s. I guess I was hoping to have a pleasant flash back. But, 100% different.

I ordered General Tso’s chicken, expecting tender, lightly battered chicken in a sweet and tangy chili sauce. Instead, I received a bland dish of chicken and broccoli drenched in what tasted like BBQ sauce. The chicken lacked the crispiness I anticipated, and the sauce was simply unappetizing. Overall, it was a major letdown.

Another Hometown restaurant. They always treat me like family. I've been coming here for years and love the new upgrades and the full blown Golden Pavilion Theme. Golden chopsticks and all. The owners are super friendly and so are the patrons

We came here for. Sunday lunch. We haven’t been here for a couple of years now. We had previously had a good experience in this restaurant but this time wasn’t good. The udon chicken is so bland that we cannot eat it. We tried adding soy sauce and pepper in it but didn’t improve the taste. We told the female server but she just recommended to add what condiments we have on the table. We mentioned to her that we already did that and asked if there’s anyway they can provide any sauce or spices from their kitchen to improve the bland taste. She didn’t provide any remedy. The portion of the rice was quite small than we used to have but roast pork is still tasty. We won’t be back anytime soon. There are many Asian restaurants in the area with good customer service and better taste.

Golden Pavilion is an amazing sushi place in Bowie! Everything is very fresh and the service is wonderful.
