First time order! The food was all delicious and packed well. Large portions. The wontons for my soup came in prepackaged bags, so they werenāt stale. Overall 10/10.

Extremely good portions for the price. Paid about $20 and had so much leftover. The sesame chicken was amazing, and the lo mein was pretty good, could use a little bit more flavor though. Shrimp egg roll was also good especially with the house sweet and sour sauce. Iām saving that sauce in my fridge because itās so good. I will be back.

I use to come hereās I thought the food tasted good. Then one day I ordered take out and found a roach inside my bag with my food. The put your food in a brown paper bag and close it with a stole gin. I donāt know how they missed that big roach. I went back to the restaurant, returned the food and got my money back. I never returned.

I ordered fried wings and fried rice. A classic Chinese meal. It tasted like cardboard. Iām very disappointed. How is this okay? The food quality was 0/10. I will never buy food their again.

Delicious and adequate portion. The Egg Foo Yung I ordered with shrimp had at least three JUMBO SHRIMP in Each of the large egg patties with very delicious sauce over each (served with rice). I will gladly re-order. The other orders here were also very delicious, Seafood Delight and Sesame Chicken. Great local place.

My husband and I order quite frequently at this place (for the past 4 years) but the food quality has been going down hill. Each visit has been making it harder for us to return to this place.
This instance, I ordered beef chow mein expecting a dish with noodles. Apparently at this restaurant, you donāt get noodles for a dish that literally has the word ānoodleā (mein) in the name. It only consisted of some beef slices with veges (onion, bean sprout, celery, and maybe Napa cabbage) in a sauce. Attached a photo. VERY disappointed.
Also ordered some fried meat dumpling, just to try it this time. The dumpling is actually āpan-friedā but only on one side and it tasted very doughy.
Another instance we ordered some beef fried rice but it had a very strong taste of shrimp.
Itās just a very disappointing experience every time now. Sad.

I've been going to Hunan Delight for about 20 years and would give it 5 stars. Went 2 days ago and it was the worst, most tasteless meal I've ever had. Am looking for a new Chinese carryout. Suggestions??

I was in the mood for fried fish and fries. I figured going to Hunan Delight would be a quicker and more cost effective alternative. I was wrong.
The fries were hard, seemed old, and were reheated. The fish was by no means the fresh fish catch I expected. Instead, it was seasonless and overcooked filets reminiscent of high school lunch fish patties.
Previous meals have been enjoyable and I expected the same. Not so much this time around. Not sure what happened, but I will begin to limit what I order.
