Jerry's Seafood "Home of the Crab Bomb"

The crab bomb is fantastic. Everything is fresh. Service is great. Drinks are great. Very good experience all the way around.

Over priced... Waitress was nice and busy but didn't come to check on us often..... Was absolutely delicious was the crab soup...... The shrimp smelled a little fishy

I love calamari. But out when it appears to be fried to perfection on the outside and the actual tastes like chewing rubber bands. Cream of crab soup was a little different than what I'm used to be because it had a hint of curry. However, it was good.

Jerry's is ok but nothing over the top. We have been here several times. We didn't get the traditional crab bomb. I believe this would be the best offering they have. The wife and I shared the Mariner's platter and it was just ok. The scallops, haddock and steamed shrimp were cooked well but the other items were meh. Nothing special. We also ordered the calamari. The calamari was not great this time and very regular. There were elements of just batter on the plate. I did enjoy the salad and homemade bluecheese dressing. I also got a cup of the cream of crab soup. It could have stood a little salt but i did enjoy eating it with the bread amd lumps of crab. I found the food overall to be bland. The service was good although our table didn't require a lot of attention. I think our server had a tough evening as he seemed worn down by the end of our dinner. My wife witnessed some tough customer interactions that may have contributed. Perhaps next ti e I will stick with the crab bomb.

If want a good crabcake then this is a spot. 10oz of pure delight and the service top tier. If your in Bowie MD, do stop in.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this location! Food is always exceptional, bathroom’s are nice & tidy, tables are wiped down clean and service is phenomenal. I have not had one bad experience here.

Place was very busy. 30 min wait. Drove an hour to see if the food was as good as their rating. The crabcakes were more flavorful than anything I've had before. Even their potatoe wedges had a very good flavor. They definitely weren't plain. The stewed tomatoes were a little sweeter than I'd expected. Id say I'd give them a 4.8 stars. Much better than average

Crab bisque was great, along with the crab bomb. The side salad was big. Service was excellent. Changes I would make is having a kids menu and a main entree salad selection.

Jerry's Seafood in Bowie, MD is our destination for delicious Maryland seafood; we always ask for Yvette; she provides outstanding service with a welcoming smile. We bring our out-of-town family/friends here to experience Maryland's seafood at its finest.

My wife starts with the cream of crab soup; I start with the crab bisque soup. We share the beer-battered shrimp. Next, the main course is the crab bomb! The seafood is simply delicious!

We have been coming to Jerry's Seafood for years and will continue to do so. Jerry's is the place for delicious seafood, a nice atmosphere, and excellent service.

I have been dining at Jerry's Seafood since they were located in the small Lanham, MD restaurant location. The food then was very good and met my expectations. Unfortunately, the quality of the food -- more specifically the crab bomb -- has significantly decreased. What I believe to be the issue is they now use Venezuelan crabmeat which strikes me as very odd given they are in such close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay where they have access to fresh, quality crab meat - especially during the summer months. The last time I was there which was about 2 months ago, I asked the waitress to ask the chef if the crabmeat used for the crab bomb was local; she came back confirming it's from Venezuela. It's a totally different texture and taste, believe me!

I no longer will be patronizing Jerry's which is very unfortunate.

Service was great deliveries are a great option, I’ve ordered one at home and went away on vacation to enjoy the delicious crab bombs and soups.

Great for parties and group gatherings!!
