we tried to eat at this restaurant yesterday we walked in at 8:30. The restaurant closes at 9pm. We were going to place a takeout order, but the woman kept shaking her head and doing this đ đ˝ââď¸. She was trying to tell me that they were closed when I asked her why the open sign was still on and the website said they closed at 9, She just kept shaking her head and doing that X thing again with her arms. She then came a bit closer and said she doesnât speak English, but theyâre closed. I understand that it may have been a slow night, but I think itâs irresponsible for a restaurant to advertise that they are closed at a certain time and then close earlier. Also, it doesnât take much to make pho, especially for takeout since all the ingredients are on the side!! I felt like this type of service was unacceptable. I will just continue to go to the Waldorf location and steer clear of this one!

Call me crazy, but why was I given a raw chunk of unsliced meat to go?
1. Why would they tell me to thinly slice my own beef?
2. There was no indication on the menu that I was ordering something raw - as someone new to pho. I just found it very confusing
3. It seems like a very small portion for $18
4. I don't know, I'm just displeased

There was no customer in the restaurant so I was able to get service right away. However, the basil leaf was disgusting and bean sprouts were withered and old. I asked for new basil leaf, which was a little better but still not fresh. I got shrimp pho, and it tasted just okay, not great.

The family and I had been feeling a bit under the weather so we decided to visit PHO D LITE, because it's close by our home and I didn't want to drive to far. For $18 a bowl , I would had expected the portions to be a bit bigger , their menu states they cook their broth for 36 hours , but it taste very tasteless . I've visited many pho places in the DMV which serve greater portions, with very delicious broth for just $12.

My entree came out before the Apps that never came . Broth was very bland. We got only 3 slices of meat and very little noodles. $40 gone currently headed to canes because Iâm still starving. Also menu kinda confusing.

Quite possibly the WORST pho Iâve ever had! We should have ran the moment we walked into the place and noticed how dirty it was. Next, a trip to the restroom should have been another red flag as it was dirtier than port-a-pots Iâve been in. The server stood over us and pressured us to order when we clearly required more time. We requested more time which somehow equated to 2 minutes. Our beef chow main had burned and dried out noodles along with âbeefâ that wasnât even at the quality standards for dog food. The vegetable pho had exactly 3 pieces of broccoli, 2 button mushrooms, 3 carrot slices, and 7 stalks of cabbage. If it wasnât for me basically pulverizing a lime the broth wouldnât have had any flavor at all. The noodles used were straight up spaghetti noodles and there was easily a point of them that were also in various stages of being cooked. So, after reading this and all the other negative reviews you chose to take your life and digestive health into your own handsâŚjust be aware that they also charge a 3% fee for using a card.

Be very careful going to this restaurant! 2 days ago we went to dine in and my husband and I got food poisoning. My husband got the worst part to where he had to miss work the next day. I called the manager to at least let him know so he can change things around his restaurant so this doesnât happen again!! To this day he hasnât reached out, so I guess he doesnât care. Itâs sad but we wonât be going there anymore!!!
My wife wanted Pho, and we see this place often. Service is excellent, parking is easy.
Stopped in this evening. Not many people there. Staff was very helpful.
Not much there that I like, so I asked what is in the Noodle with Tofu. It seemed safe, no bean sprouts, green onion, etcâŚ. I was wrong. Staff said noodles, tofu. Easy. Half the container is bean sprouts, green onion, sliced onion, and if I was vegetarian the egg would be a problem. Not much flavor either.
I wonât be back.

This used to be one of my favorite pho spots. Unfortunately it is no longer a delight. The atmosphere is drab, the food was not good and too expensive for the poor quality. The broth set the tone for the meal which wasn't good. My family ordered 2 chicken pho and one beef combo pho. The few pieces of chicken that were in the bowl were overcooked, tough and dry. The seafood egg roll was bad bad bad. One bite trash bad. I wouldn't recommend and won't be back. I think this is under new management and at the current rate the suite will be up for lease sooner than later.

I rarely ever leave a review ! But this was ridiculous. I got Pad Thai which was delicious . But my problem is with the tea I got . I got a âsweet teaâ , the tea was 7$ . No refills . On the menu it says cold tea is 3$. Mind you the tea is made with the powdered tea stuff which cost about 2$ at youre local grocery store . I felt that to be extremely off putting . With that being said I will not be stepping foot back in this establishment. When I walked in it was empty and now I see why.
Went back after they switched ownership. Much better food, lots of options. I had the meatball pho and grilled beef skewer appetizer.

This place is awful. When you enter the establishment the employees are lounging around with no real sense of urgency to take customers order. Furthermore, the chicken pho soup was lacking in flavor, the chicken was extremely skimp and dry. I couldnât even finish the soup. Will not be returning. Pho5Up in Crofton is a better option.
