The food here is AMAZING! They have great tasting sandwiches, and their fried chicken is fantastic. Decent size portions for the money you spend. The staff is also attentive and friendly.

First and last visit. Service was extremely slow for an empty restaurant. Our table wasn’t offered the nightly specials, and our waiter completely forgot our daughter’s juice; she was the one who had to point out the delay and ask another server about it ( she’s 4)!
I ordered the baby back ribs with green beans and mashed potatoes. The green beans tasted like they came straight from a can, and the mashed potatoes were clearly instant (I take my mashed potatoes seriously!).
The fried fish was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor.
The waiter took my card for payment and then said I never presented a card. I was completely baffled.
Overall, very disappointing experience. Mediocre at best.

When I came in today and sat at the bar, I was not offered service. The bartender didn’t ask me anything. There was a group of white gentleman at the other end of the bar that he continued to say you good brother? Mind you, this is a Hispanic man. Now I’m definitely not saying we all can’t be brothers and sisters yada yada, but I had to ask for a a drink, the menu... I had to call out and tell him what I wanted for my appetizer and my meal. Mind you I’ve been here now from about 1:45 and it’s 3 now. I’m not in a rush, and bottom line, this man has not checked on me once. UNACCEPTABLE! The only reason I say I may or may not recommend the place is, last time I sat at the bar, a white bartender was working it, and I didn’t have to ask for anything. He took good care of me. The next two white men that came in separately were greeted, offered drinks and a menu. The only reason I stayed is because I don’t feel like riding around, I’m hungry. With the climate we are experiencing in America today, he just doubled not only unsatisfactory service, but making one not feel welcome. I can’t be the only one, but maybe the only one to speak up. I’ll be posting on YELP as well as my social media pages. Food, good. Ambiance, good. Service, poor. Service sucked for not only being the ONLY woman at the bar, but also the only black woman/person at the bar and please believe I’m not trying to make it racial. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman. In the store, at a table, I’ve never experienced this at your establishment before.
