Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

After going to the Crofton Rita's, I tried this one since it's closer to me. I think the prices are similar, which are a bit high but acceptable for an occasional treat. The gelatino was a bit taller here at Bowie Rita's. Got mango and it was very tasty!

I have visited this Rita’s often. I went there and placed my order. The person working seem to be upset and irritated. Not welcoming at all. My child placed his order, my child didn’t say what size he wanted but neither did the guy working this day. Once I notice he was using a small cup, I immediately asked and told him it should’ve been a large. The guy looked at my crazy rolled his eyes and stormed around the other side of the wall to throw the small cup away. When your job consist of working with customers.. you need to be CUSTOMER SERVICE FRIENDLY! It was a honest mistake. I’ll keep my money at Bruster’s real ice cream at Bowie town center

The staff is a mess changes daily. Of all the multiple times I’ve come here with my kids our order came out right twice and they like to argue their mistakes. They also tend to charge prior to physically completing the order. So your order would be incorrect and they will say will that’s what I charged you for. Definitely won’t be back.

Good experience, the individual behind the counter forgot what we ordered within a minute of ordering. But maybe she had a lot going on.

Overall a great location. Staff has always been friendly. Parking lot is a little goofy. However always worth the parking situation

I am sorry the place is not the same with the new management. They give you less ice cream for your money. The cups are hardly full. The last owner - Africa lady gave customers' their money's worth. What happen to her?

Rita's is always the best fantastic custard

Visited the store and ended up with a bee in the bottom of my cup. Health department on its way. They told me they had an infestation of bees. Told me to come get a refund, told them it’s not about the money

Italian ice was good... the line was sooooo long... almost left.

Horrible customer service since the new owners have taken over. The African lady at the counter has a terrible attitude all the time.
