The candied potatoes seemed like doctored canned sweet potatoes. My fried shrimp was old. But my Bananas Foster's Waffle was delicious. The Mac and cheese wad meh 😐. This area is overdue for a real soul food restaurant

I can’t really understand these high reviews. The food left a lot to be desired. The chicken wings were fresh. That’s where the good stopped. The fish tasted like old grease. It was terrible. Greens and Mac both were bland. No flavor at all. It was giving canned glory greens. My husband did not like anything. He said the fish tasted old and the, yams and Mac were bland. Even the banana pudding was just ok. We spent about $65 and definitely won’t do that again. I did come within an hour of closing roughly 8:15. However, we waited a considerable amount of time, and still got fish that tasted awful. Perhaps things are better earlier in the day. Overall, it was a major disappointment.

Ribs Mac n Cheese Blacked eyed peas delicious. Food temp spot on. Bathroom cleanliness A Plus. I recommend anyone stop in for a dish. You won’t be disappointed

Their food is good, better than CK for sure (except for the cornbread. It’s dry and I believe it comes premade and they heat it up). Service is ok.

OMG! The best oxtails I have ever tasted. I decided to not order my favorite meal of fried catfish or fried chicken wings. Instead I tried the smoke oxtails. Chef's kiss!!

Food is very decent, but the chicken wings have too much hair on it

Mac and cheese must have been a bad batch. I only liked the greens. Chicken taste like a chicken box. No one seems to cook southern fried chicken anymore. Bake chicken was good. Price was a little pricey. I wouldn't complain if the chicken and the Mac and cheese was better. Mac and cheese is not suppose to be juicy but it should have all the correct ingredients. Experience was ok

My family and I had an amazing time at Ruby‘s. We were greeted with kindness from NyKayla. She was so kind and patient with us as we placed our order. We will definitely be back!
