My go to starbucks in Bowie MD. Friendly baristas. I learned the drink i wanted is a latte, not a cappuccino.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks. I ordered a drink with a double shot of espresso, which I paid for, but the barista (Alissa) insisted she had already added them and refused to remake it when I explained it didn’t taste right. I made it clear I wasn’t trying to argue—I just wanted my drink corrected. Instead, she became verbally loud to the point that other customers could hear. When I asked for a manager, they agreed to have the drink remade. A young man began preparing it, but Alissa abruptly grabbed the cup from him and took over. The entire situation felt hostile and uncomfortable, and the negative energy ruined the experience. I didn’t even feel comfortable drinking the remake. I paid $9.81 for this drink and simply expected it to be made correctly without conflict. To make things worse, I work at a neighboring business and me and my coworkers come to this location often for our drinks. Unfortunately, we’ve all had negative interactions with this particular employee on numerous occasions, and this experience was the worst of them. It’s very discouraging, especially since this is our go-to Starbucks.

Love the renovated store. The drive thru moves fast, parking is solid if you want to go in, and the staff is exceptional. If the prices came down I might visit more than once every few weeks
Parking: The new lot is easy to navigate and has a lot of spaces.
Kid-friendliness: Just get a cream frappachino or cake pop, or brownie.

This is a really great Starbucks. The staff is absolutely wonderful and always fill my mobile orders very quickly. Today I accidentally sent my mobile order to the wrong store and they helped me fix the issue immediately.

I love Bowie, Harris Teether. The meats are always fresh. The staff should be commend for excellent services. Thank you Store Manager Jan! I love the Deli Service. Just need to work on long lines.

Produce is good! BE VERY CAREFUL OF ASIAN BAR. THEY DON'T PRACTICE SAFE FOOD HANDLING! I SAW WITH MY OWN EYES A PERSON PREPARE SUSHI (COOKED SHRIMP) AND TOUCH RAW GROUND MEAT WITH THE SAME HAND. CROSS CONTAMINATION AND DEFINITELY GROUNDS FOR SOMEONE TO BECOME ILL. Alot of elderly shop there so this would do a number on their body if they caught something. Although the Asian bar is contracted out and is not Harris Teeter, Harris Teeter is still responsible for what the contractor does and protecting their customers. Also...lines are usually ridiculous. Generic brand is okay. I prefer Giant's brand and Giant has more variety and selection.
