This location in Bowie, MD, does not deliver on service like other TR locations. No bread until asked for it, server came 12 minutes after seated, salad arrived after entree. Meanwhile, workers stood around talking amongst themselves instead of focused on their job.

The Manager on duty (Denise) had a terrible attitude when dealing with our party of six. We arrived at 9pm and closing was at 10pm. We were instructed to wait until called to be seated. The estimated time was 30 mins to be seated. After the 30 mins had passed, we were told to order takeout at a discounted rate, as if that was some kind of deal and that was the best that they could do. I explained to Denise, that it should have been communicated upon arrival that they weren’t going to seat us, instead of having us wait the 30 minutes to be turned away. The managers on duty should definitely have a better policy in place and be re-trained. We were there to celebrate my daughter’s 15th birthday. I didn’t appreciate how the situation was handled because it was a huge inconvenience.

This is my first time visiting this location. My google reviews are about the consistency of BRANDS as I visit Texas Roadhouse in Michigan. At appearance, the building looks like the brand that I am used to. whereas plenty of parking, other establishment customers also park in the lot which makes parking difficulty for Texas Roadhouse customers. As usual with this brand, the wait is at least 40 minutes. The entry way was clean and welcoming. the hostess was kind but kept calling me "baby" or "honey" and it felt uncomfortable but I didn't want to break her good mood with a complaint (please be mindful of sexual harassments - unwanted pet names and also be perceived as disrespectful). The hostess saw to it that those waiting got bread and butter which was a nice touch. When seated, the tables were not as clean as I had hoped and the searing didn't accommodate an infant made appetizers uncomfortable. the waitress, something with a K was very nice. we ordered 2 steaks - MEDIUM and 1 burger meal with our appetizers. the main meal didn't come together, we had to wait for corn or other sides. the onion rings of sorts were great and chicken with bbq was too much bbq, over powered the chicken or tried to rehydrate the dry chicken bits with bbq Sause (not a good cheat). the burger was good and steak fries too. the steaks didn't come medium but rare and our diets forbid rare meats. This matter of inconvenienced not only held up our dinner as we couldn't eat together while my burger got cold having to wait for another steak but also put more of a wait time on those waiting the 40 minutes to be seated and dine. it is extremely important that the chefs get the orders correctly for that reason as I believe the waitress submitted our ticket correctly and her other orders were correct. When the chefs get it WRONG, it frustrates the waitstaff as they are the individuals who must deal with the disgruntle, and hangry customer. The restrooms were filthy to the point I took paper towels and wiped down the sink and also soap and paper towel and cleaned my own toilet seat. I asked a manager (tall black man) if we could get the restroom cleaned and he blew me off as petty and walked away. another manager came to address the steak issue- we cant eat raw meats and shouldn't have to explain WHY when we asked for medium steak - management and the kitchen fumbled a ball that the waitstaff set up for a slam dunk. as a result, the waitstaff lost tips - the managers and kitchen should pay her the lost gratuity! scores as to compare to the Michigan brand stores!Dietary restrictions: This establishment will not consider special diets.Parking: Plenty of parking but the restaurant seems to also share parking with other establishments which inconvenience Texas Roadhouse customers.Kid-friendliness: Whereas toddlers are welcome, this establishment is not equipped for babies or accessories for infants. the seating will not accommodate for infants.Wheelchair accessibility: Not ADA accommodating from what I experienced

Our family used the takeaway option. Apparently, Saturday is a big dine out night at all of the local restaurants. Wait time can reach over an hour for this location. We downloaded the mobile app and placed our orders. The wait time for pickup was about 20 minutes. The food was delicious, and the butter and rolls lived up to the hype. The only downside to our experience was that the utensils and napkins were missing. We specifically asked for them as we were visiting the area, and we were taking the food back to our hotel room.Parking: Parking lot close to the restaurant fills very quickly, if you are doing takeaway you the "to go" spots.

Service was excellent. Server was very attentive.I ordered a medium well steak. Got a cool medium rare steak. Steak tasted OK, not bad enough to send it back.Drinks were a flavored Margarita. They were tasty enough, but no discernable alcohol.Just meh.

Please do not eat here the food is not worth the hype I ordered a rib-eye steak that tasted like a McRib from McDonald’s… The gravy was okay once I added salt and pepper that was the only thing that was good…..my ribs were pink on the inside (not tender) so I’m looking very unlady -like trying to gnaw on a rib like I have no damn teeth…and they used Kraft barbecue on everything. There was no variety on the sauces.. we had No napkins and no silverware.. we had to request it..watered down drinks.. The server was a nice guy but the food was terrible ..it looked better than it tasted…. I ordered loaded mashed potatoes and the cheeses and bacon bits were thrown on top.. of course the potatoes wasn’t hot because the cheese wasn’t melted..I had corn that tasted like they dumped it out of a can… oh they do not have any wings with the bone in . Grown men prefer a bone in wing.. save the boneless for da kids. Lol .. the boneless wings looked like skinny strip nuggets…They just don’t have wings with a bone in it.. dat sucks!!!!the mozzarella sticks were very thin and coiled like noodle shape.. i have seen circular or rectangular shape but never this..the only thing that was good was the bread that they bring when u first sit and the butter for the bread had cinnamon and sugar in it which was disappointing because I don’t like sweets.. it turned the bread into a Cinnabon taste..my husband liked it but I thought it was expecting just butter .we weren’t given a choice.,Children we’re everywhere crying which is not their fault ..It was not a pleasant experience at all..This place is still going based on and old reputation .i shoulda just went to Friday’s. No complaints there..Parking: Parking is plentiful and the parking lot smells like urine

It was a wow... the food and the service. Even when a mistake was made, it was sweetly corrected. The ribs and rolls with that special butter were awesome???

been several times and it's hit or miss with the service. last time here I had to hunt down someone to find out waitress after 15 mins of waiting and had horrible service. this time was told there was a 20 min wait when the restaurant was not even half full and waitresses were leaning by the host stand. decided to eat at the bar which I hate because of the seat and a back issue but I wasn't about to wait 20 mins to watch waiters leaning. bartender was very attentive. thanks sean

My husband and I are frequent visitors of the Texas Roadhouse in Bowie Md. We’ve always had such a great experience there, as a matter of fact we’ve recommended so many of our friends and family there and they too have become frequent visitors as well. However on yesterday, my husband and I had THE MOST WORST, EMBARRASSING, EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! We both ordered steaks, that were supposed to be cooked Medium Well, however they were Well Done, we both to took maybe one or two bites before we both realized that they were not prepared the way we had ordered them. We ofcouse told our waitress and she was very nice about it, she offered us to allow them to make it right however I’m not one to reorder after my food has been returned it’s just a phobia that I have and so does my husband. The waitress sent over a manager and that’s where the trouble started. The manager was very rude and had accused us of eating half of our steaks which was a flat. We told her that we had only taken one or two bites before we returned them, she decided to go back and forth with us and not only that she gave us a bill that was unfitting for what we had eaten, which was our salads and my husband had a Coke Zero, neither one of us had touched our second side dish. Once we got at the front of the restaurant she had the police there waiting for us because she told him that we ate half our food and we were trying to skip out without paying. That lie she told created such a big scene, we asked for her name however she declined to give us her name, we asked for another manager she said that she was the only manager on duty.. It took for things to escalate before another manager came out and pulled my husband and myself aside and asked us to explain to him what was going on, I didn’t like the fact that we were asked what did we have to drink? I was applaud at that question, for the record, my husband and I do not partake in alcoholic beverages, We are Christians and for him to assume and have the audacity to ask us that was very unprofessional. Ultimately, after all the shame and embarrassment with no apologies from either of the managers our bill was on the house as it should’ve been long before all of that drama. My husband and I will never forget our experience nor will we ever visit the Bowie Texas Roadhouse location ever again. Believe me, as sure as I told family and friends the good I will tell them about this bad experience as well. That particular Management Team Sucks.

My husband and I went to Texas Roadhouse for an early dinner on Friday and everything was great. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly, the salads were fresh, and the baked potato and steak fries were both good and hot. The service was beyond exceptional. Our waitress, Jasmine, was very attentive and friendly. She waited for us to cut our steaks to make sure they were prepared as requested, and consistently checked on us to see if we needed anything. To top it off, two managers, on two separate occasions, visited our table to make sure everything was good. Although it was crowded, we were seated fast and there was not a long wait for our food... We were in and out.

So I have only visited this location twice so this review will need another visit to break the tie. The environment is the same which is normal nothing extra special but nothing negative either. The service both times were very good also. The food is in the balance. Steak and shrimp to be exact. My first streak was ribeye suggested by the waitress and it was great. The second time it was a sirloin ordered medium well but it came very well done and super dry. They took it back and replaced it but I took it to go and didn't try it until I got home. There it was still well done but not so dry I couldn't eat it. The shrimp came with the steak and it was very dry and over cooked but I had a plan for the meal so I just ate it. So until next visit.

The food was good but the service was exceptional. Denise, our server, hands down, was the best I’ve ever had. PG County restaurants should send all their servers to her to be trained. 5 +++++ star service. She was great great great! Ask for her when you come or ask to be served by someone she trained and you won’t be disappointed. We would come back just for her service.Disclaimer: We are not her family members or friends. We never met her before this visit.
