Overall decent crabs. I purchased the X-Large. Their prices are higher but I’m a true crab lover and the location was convenient. There’s a wait even if you called in and allowed 30 mins. So be prepared to wait.
I loved the crabs! I happened to get the Crab Monsters—bigger than jumbo and true to size. They were absolutely huge and delicious. I eat crabs often, and these did not disappoint. The seasoning wasn’t spread evenly at first, but after shaking the bag a bit, it balanced out perfectly—not too salty, which I appreciate. Every single crab was cooked just right—no bad ones in the bunch. I’ll definitely be back for a dozen. They were a lot, but totally worth it!
I've gotten crabs and crab legs from this location quite a few times over the past 3 years or so. They're usually good, but my beef is with the cream of crab soup. It literally tasted like someone took canned Campbell's potato soup and cream of celery soup and put backfin crab meat in it. I don't recall it tasting like this previously. I had so many potatoes in it I questioned if it was actually clam chowder lol but I was assured that was how it was made....
